Storage Sunday - Copic Markers

Hello there, for my Storage Sunday post this week I am sharing how I store my Copic Markers. I do have a few other marker pens but as my main colouring medium is Copics, that is what my main storage is for. I have four Color Cubbies from Studio 3 Solutions which sit on my desk. They hold all 358 Markers as well as the two sets of Copic Spica pens (plus my two Wink Of Stella pens also). I love that firstly they are white in colour, secondly that they have slightly slanted shelves so that the markers are easy to grab but thirdly and most importantly, I love that they look nice! I think that they show off the pretty colours of the markers beautifully. I have them in the same colour order as the Copic Colour Chart.

Here is a little video showing the units and my Copic Markers up close ...

If you are one of my lovely readers from the UK you need to note that these are from the US. Yes, I had them shipped all the way over as at that time there was nothing even remotely similar made in the UK. Personally I think they are worth the shipping cost as I love them but I know most people would disagree with that!

Some other suggestions for those living in the UK are Vixx Handmade Storage, the original Copic Acrylic Storage Stands and Valentines Copic Storage Cubbies (half way down the page). Please note however, that I have not used the storage from Vixx or Valentines before so I cannot comment on what the actual items are like. They look good one screen though! There are also tons of other ideas across the web and on You Tube but as I am getting questions about mine I thought I would share it with you. How do you store your pens? I would love to hear or see.

Hope that might have helped some of you, thank you so much for visiting me today.

Let It Snowflake - DTDF

Hello there, I have another Christmas card to share with you today (trying to get organised this year!) that I have made for the DTDF Blog using supplies from the Die to Die for shop. I have used an older MFT Die-Namics die (Let It Snowflake) for my card today. Although it has been out for a while now I still love it. Instead of using the positive die cuts I have used the negative to create an aperture in my card panel and added Bo Bunny Double Dot paper behind. Finished off with a few rhinestones. the sentiment is from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Modern Christmas set. I am entering this card into the latest Less Is More Challenge which is to use DP in a CAS way.

Thank you so much for visiting me today. Sorry for the poor pictures (again), it was such a gloomy and rainy day yesterday when I was trying to photograph them. I hope the weather is better for you where you are. Have a great day!

The Cutest Reindeer is Back!

Remember this little guy from last year? He is just so cute he needed to be returned this year. He is from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Merry Little Christmas set and this year there is now dies for it - yay! After seeing what the amazing Debby Hughes has done with embossing paste I just had to have a go myself. The background of the panel has been made by using the embossing paste and the SSS Falling Snow stencil. I really like the look!

SUPPLIES:

COPIC MARKERS: E47, E44, E43, E42, E41, R01, R02

Thank you so much for visiting me today, I am so sorry the post is so late in the day but I received some good news this morning and I have been a bit pre-occupied with that. I have just found out that I will be returning back to university in January to do a Masters in Healthcare Law & Ethics. I am so happy I got a place on the course! :0)

Storage Sunday - Tools

Hello there, I am back with another edition of Storage Sunday. Today I am focussing on tools. I have a ton of tools, more than I am sure I need but I like to have a tool for everything just in case! I keep  all of the smaller ones together in a spinning carousel. You can buy these from various places but I got mine from Great Little Trading Co. They have changed it since I bought mine, mine is bigger and has drawers whereas the newer one I think is slightly smaller and doesn't have drawers. It is cheaper than when I bought mine though and I still think it is a good buy.

Here is a video showing you what is in my carousel ...

The larger tools that I own - cutting mats, score boards, trimmers etc. I keep mainly under my desk. I will be doing a new whole room tour soon, if anyone wants to see?, and they can be seen then.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I store my tools and which ones I have. I know I love seeing what tools people use and how they use them ... I am nosey like that! Thank you for visiting me today. Hope you are having a lovely weekend!

Hello there, I am just popping in quickly to share a haul I got from Simon Says Stamp this week. This is actually two separate orders, the first was put in reserve as one of the items was out of stock. The second order came on the same day so I thought I would do a little video to show you what I got ...

PRODUCTS MENTIONED:

I blame most of my purchases on the amazing Debby Hughes! I just HAD to have those snowflakes after seeing her using them. Anyway, I hope you are having a lovely weekend so far, please pop by tomorrow for my next Storage Sunday feature, this week will be tools storage.

White On White - DTDF

Hello there, for my card today over at the Dies to Die for Blog I have used the MFT Die-Namics Christmas Greetings set. Such a great set with mix and mitch word dies. I have used the Merry and Christmas to make a simple white on white card. I have also cut a few little snowflakes from the MB Crystalline Border die. They have all had the Wink Of Stella treatment too, looks so nice and shimmery IRL!

 SUPPLIES:

Thanks so much for visiting me today. The weather seems to have dropped here again in the south of England. I think I need to hunt out my gloves and scarves soon! Have a lovely day whatever you are up to!
