Mummy To Be

I have made this card for my cousin who has just announced she is pregnant. I saw this image a few weeks ago and fell in love with it! So cute! It is Momma Mae by Some Odd Girl. I have then made flowers using the MFT Mini Rolled Roses dies out of felt and added pearls to their centres. Elzybells sentiment stamped to finish.

21

This is a card for my cousin who, I am sure you can tell is turning 21! I have been struggling with this card for months, I know I wanted all the components in this layout but I really struggled and whatever I tried the composition was just not right. Then I saw THIS card by Pickle and it fell in to place! Thank you Kerry. So I started off with a CWC Elegant card blank and added a square of paper from the new Echo Park Be Mine Collection and layered this with black DB CS. I have then added a strip of DB Posie Pink also layered with black; I have then cut the '21' panel using a MFT Die-Namic from the Framed Greeting Die and Stamp Set, this has also been layered with black CS. I have added two CWC Card Candi to the sides and then added the Roller Rink Thickers to it. A Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly then punched and adhered with DB Sugar Coating and added beside the number panel. Tiny pearls added to finish.

The inside has just been layered with more black and white CS, a sheet of the paper {which I have just realised is upside down!} and another butterfly. The greeting is one from the PTI Birthday Basic Set.

STAMPS: Papertrey Ink. INK: Memento Tuxedo Black. CS: Craftwork Cards, Doodlebug Designs, Echo Park. TOOLS: My Favourite Things Die-Namics, Martha Stewart punch. EMBELLISHMENTS: Craftwork Cards Card Candi, American Crafts Thickers, Doodlebug Designs Sugar Coating, The Hobby House Pearls.

A Little About Me Updated

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. I thought I'd come on here and just update for those who sent me lovely wishes on my post below. I had my lumbar puncture and the pressure was high confirming that my BIH has come back sadly. The procedure didn't go to plan and they had to have numerous attempts and doing it, this has left me in a lot of pain and it is only now that I have been able to sit up for short while. I have another week off work next week but then hopefully I should be back there. The one procedure does not appear to have cured it and the doctors believe I will need another one. For the time being I am just trying to take things easy.

Before my procedure I did manage to make my mum her Mother's Day card and I should be back on here shortly to share that with you.
