Clearly Besotted | Let's Prance

Hello there, I absolutely love the reindeer in the Clearly Besotted Let's Prance Stamp Set and thought they would be great for an easy Christmas card idea that could be mass produced.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by taking a panel of white cardstock and stamping the three reindeer from the Clearly Besotted Let's Prance Stamp Set on top using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. Whilst I love colouring these reindeer, I thought it would like look nice to keep them just black and white and modern looking.

I grabbed a Copic Black Multiliner and coloured the hooves and scarves of the reindeer, plus the noses on two as well. I then cut the panel down a little (to 3.75" tall) and adhered it to a 4" x 5.5" black card base with thin foam tape.

I stamped a sentiment from the now retired Clearly Besotted A Little Sentimental Stamp Set (but the newer Small Sentiments set has the same font) onto more black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and adhered to the card using more thin foam tape. To finish, I adhered a Doodlebug red glitter Sprinkle to the reindeer's nose in the middle.

I did think about adding the panel onto a red card base to make it look a bit more Christmassy, but I love black card bases, so went with that instead! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Clearly Besotted | Sending Love

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the Clearly Besotted Sending Love set. This is such a cute set with characters popping out of envelopes, as well as few other images and sentiments.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off by stamping two of the images from the Clearly Besotted Sending Love Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured them using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies section). I then fussy cut them out using scissors.

Using the images as I guide, I stamped the postage marks onto the front of an A2 sized white card base using Shadow Grey Archival Ink. I then stamped the sentiment from the set using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink

The images were adhered on top using thin foam tape. I added white gel pen highlights to the images, as well as black glaze pen on their eyes. For some added shine, I applied Crystal Glaze to the heart on the penguin's envelope. To finish, I added a few Pinkfresh Studio Lilac Clear Drops

Clearly Besotted Teasers | Hello Friend

Hello there and welcome to day three of the Clearly Besotted June 2023 Teasers. The new sets release on 1st June 2023, so not too long to wait now! My card today uses the new Sunny Day Play set. This set has lots of hippos having fun at the beach. As much as I love the hippos, I fell in love with the seagulls and wanted to make a feature of them!

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off by stamping the seagulls from the Clearly Besotted Sunny Day Play Stamp Set on to white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured them using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies list) before fussy cutting them out with scissors.

I die cut a few Hero Arts Hexagon Infinity Dies from white cardstock - two for the card base and another two for the waves. Using a wave die (I used a retired set from MFT) I cut three layers of waves and then blended Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers Distress Ink on top. On another of the panels, I placed the Clearly Besotted Cloudy Days Stencil on top and blended Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink on top to create the sky.

I scored the other hexagon piece at the top to make a hinge. I added adhesive to it and adhered it to the cloud one to make a card base. The waves were adhered to the card with tape runner adhesive, making sure to leave a gap at the top to add the seagulls under the waves. The seagulls were adhered with thin foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Tiny Type Stamp Set on to black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. They were cut into strips and adhered to the card with more thin foam tape. To finish off, I added Copic Marker and white gel pen dots to the water.

Although I already had the design for the card in my head, it end up being similar to a few cards I saw online using an MFT set - Anna Lorenzetto, Amy Yang and Angelica Conrad. Aren't they amazing! For more inspiration using the Clearly Besotted June 2023 release, please head over to the Clearly Besotted Blog, my amazing teamie Keren and our wonderful guests Kitty, Francine and Alberto. I started off by stamping one of the bees from the Clearly Besotted Bee Well Stamp Set on to white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured him using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies list for reference) and then fussy cut him out with scissors.

I placed the Clearly Besotted Honeycomb Crunch Stencil on to a panel of white cardstock and using a blending brush, blended Tim Holtz Distress Inks on top. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber. The stencil was removed and the panel die cut using a Hero Arts Rectangle Infinity Die before adhering to a US A2 sized white card base with thin foam tape.

The bee was adhered on top with more thin foam tape. I took the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Bee Well Stamp Set and stamped it on to black cardstock using Versamark Ink. Clearly Besotted Teasers | The Cow Jumped Over the Moon

Hello there and welcome to day four of the Clearly Besotted May 2023 Release Teasers. Only one more sleep until release day tomorrow, 1st May 2023. Today I am using the super cute Rhyme Time set. This is so fun because the images represent characters/lines in nursery rhymes. Like the cow jumped over the moon!

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by stamping the cow/moon and star images from the Clearly Besotted Rhyme Time Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. They were coloured using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies area for reference) and then fussy cut out with scissors.

I took a panel of white cardstock and cut it using one of the Sunny Studio Stamps Slimline Pennants Dies. I blended Tim Holtz Distress Inks on top with blending brushes, fading to white at the bottom. I used (top to bottom) Villainous Potion, Prize Ribbon and Mermaid Lagoon. I then placed the Clearly Besotted Sprinkled Stars Stencil on top and using the residual ink on the brushes, blended through the stencil to apply stars to the panel.

The panel was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base with thin foam tape, the images were then adhered on top. I took the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Tiny Type Stamp Set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and added to the card. To finish off, I added a few white gel pen highlights to the images.

Clearly Besotted Teasers | I Love Big Books

Hello there and welcome to day three of the Clearly Besotted May 2023 Release Teasers. Release day is Monday, 1st May 2023, so not long to wait now! Continuing with the book theme, my card today uses the Clever Corners set. This set has two corner images in it but as you can see, I modified one to make it a non-corner image!

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off by stamping the image from the Clearly Besotted Clever Corners Stamp Set on to white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Since the image is larger, before stamping I masked off the images to the left. It only meets the books in two places, so was not difficult to mask with a bit of post-it tape. The image was coloured using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies area for reference).

I then fussy cut the image out using scissors. I took a panel of white cardstock and added Altenew Dotted Washi Tape to it, before trimming off the edges. The panel was adhered to a US A2 sized black card base with thin foam tape. I then adhered the image on top with more thin foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment from the set on to black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and then adhered to the card. To finish off, I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the owl's beak and also to some areas on the books.

Clearly Besotted Teasers | Telling Tales

Hello there and welcome to the start of the Clearly Besotted May 2023 Release Teasers. The new stamps release Monday, 1st May 2023 and from now until then, we will be sharing teasers with you. This release has a fun book/stories/nursery rhyme theme to it. My card and tag today use the Telling Tales Line Up set.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

For my card, I started off by stamping the underwater scene from the Clearly Besotted Telling Tales Stamp Set on to a panel of white cardstock that was cut using a Simon Says Stamp Mini Slimline Rectangles Die. I then stamped it again on to Altenew Masking Paper before fussy cutting out with scissors. The mask was then placed on top of the image on the panel.

At the top of the image, I added ink blending with brushes. I used Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon and Prize Ribbon Distress Inks to create the effect of water. The mask was removed and the image coloured using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies list for reference). The panel was then adhered to a mini slimline card base (6.25" x 3.15") which has a piece of Doodlebug Paper on the front, with thin foam tape.

I stamped then sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Tiny Type Stamp Set on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and adhered to the card with more thin foam tape. To finish off, I added white gel pen highlights to the images.

I loved this set so much that I had to create another project with it. I took the other image in the Clearly Besotted Telling Tales Line Up Stamp Set (the fairytale scene) and stamped it on to white cardstock. I then coloured only the dragon and cat part with Copic Markers and fussy cut it out with scissors. Since there were some extra lines around the image, I coloured over them with a white gel pen.

I die cut a Clearly Besotted Tag Along Die from white cardstock and also from a sheet in the Altenew Essential Black & White Paper Pad. The paper piece was cut down further and adhered to the bottom of the white tag, followed by a strip of black cardstock.

The image was then adhered on top with thin foam tape. I die cut a hole reinforcer from black cardstock and adhered that on top. I then tied a bow at the top of the tag with twine/cord. To finish off, I added black glaze pen to their eyes and a few white gel pen highlights too.

Shhh ... don't tell the others but I think this might be my favourite set this month. I just love the scenes already created for you! For more inspiration using the new sets, please head over to the Clearly Besotted Blog and to my fabulous teamie Keren. We also have the fabulous Kitty, Francine and Alberto back guesting with us this month, so I hope you will check out what they have been up to as well. Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day!
