Happy Birthday Dad!

As you can probably guess from the title I have made this card for my Dad for his Birthday! I have used the fab High Hopes Party Donkey and Champagne Glass stamps - available from Dies to Die For; coloured them with Copics, mounted to dark brown Bazzill CS and added to base with DST. The base has been made by layering up dark & light brown CS on to a white card blank. High Hopes message stamped, cut out, mounted and added to card with 3d foam pads.

Meet Emily ...

If you haven't already met Emily here she is! She is available in many different stamps from Spiral Whisper. I needed to make a card for my cousin and I thought she was ideal! I have stamped her out and coloured her with Copics, adding glitter to her bow and balloon, mounted to pink CS and added to base with 3d foam pads. The base is simply a sheet of Basic Grey {Gypsy pad} paper added to a white card blank with ribbon wrapped around. Happy Easter Eggs!

Here is a quick little something I did for a little Easter gift. I bought some eggs from M&S and added them to a clear bag, added a piece of yellow CS folded over the top and secured it with DST on the inside. I have stamped out one of the chicks from the Chick Cube Trio stamp, coloured with Copics, cut out and added to the CS with 3d foam pads. Greeting stamped from the Eggstravaganza Sentiments clear set. So are you taking advantage of the free shipping offer Elzybells are doing?

A Little Hello

This is my final sneak peek of the very cute Gwendoline download kit avaliable from Spiral Whisper tomorrow. I have printed her out and coloured with Copics, mounted up on 2 shades of purple/lilac CS and added to base with 3d foamp pads. The base is more purple/lilac CS layered up with Doodlebug 'Lilac Velvet' paper. ribbon wrapped arounf and greeting {from the Elzybells Little Hello Set} stamped to finish.

Birthday Gwendoline

Here is another card made using the very cute Gwendoline download set to be released by Spiral Whisper on the 30th March. Again, I have kept it quite simple by colouring the image in using Copics and mounting to pink CS, added to base with 3d foam pads. the base is simply darker pink CS added to a white card blank, gem stones added in the corner and a Craftwork Cards mini message added. Miss Anya

I have made this card using the one of the gorgeous Miss Anyas from The Greeting Farm - available from Dies to Die for. Stamps out and coloured with Copics adding glitter to her flowers and ribbon in hair, cut out with Nestabilities and added to base with 3d foam pads. The base has been made by layering up shades of Bazzill pink CS and ribbon wrapped around. Flowers with gem stones added to the top corner, I have left off the greeting for now as I do not know who it is going to yet! Isn't she cute? She is a new download kit available from Spiral Whisper on Monday 30th March. The DT members are showing sneak peeks this week until the release so head over to the blog for more lovely creations. Here is my first creation, I have kept it really simple and printed off the image and coloured using Copics, cut out with Nestabilities and added to card blank with 3d foam pads. Before adding the image I have wrapped ribbon around the card blank, stamped the greeting {by MFT available from Dies to Die for} and added gem stones to finish.

Happy Mother's Day Tilda

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums out there! I hope you all have a lovely relaxing day. This is the card I have made for for my mum. She loves sunflowers and the colour lilac so I thought I would try and combine the two! I have stamped Tilda with Sunflower and coloured her with Copics, cut out and added to base with 3D foam pads. The base has been made by layering up shades of lilac Bazzill CS, the top one has been run through my Cuttlebug using the Stylized Flowers embossing folder. Ribbon wrapped around and Prima flowers layered up. Message {from Elzybells} stamped and cut out using a Nestabilities die, added to the flowers with a silver flower charm. Gem stones added to the image to finish. My camera has decided it doesn't want to take close ups of my images on the last few cards I have made, they seem to come out blurry ... not sure why!

I have decorated the inside by stamping the same image and cutting out using a Nesties circle. Elzybells message stamped and gem stones added.

I have used another of the flowers designs printed out and cut using Nestabilities dies, added to base with 3d foam pads. The base is simply a square of black CS added to a white card blank. Elzybells Challenge 16 - Polka Dots

Apologies for posting this late in the day, I had to go into work for a night shift last night on my day off and then had a study day today {so I have been awake for longer than 24 hours now!!} so completely messed up getting this posted. The challenge this fortnight over at Elzybells has been set by the fab Jeanne and is to make a card using polka dots. I have stamped my image and coloured with Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor, cut out using Nestabilities dies and added to base with 3d foam pads. the base has been made by layering up shades of pink CS on to a white card blank, the lightest of which has been run through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder. Ribbon wrapped around. The greeting has been stamped then cut out using a Nestie tag die, added to ribbon with a Doodlebug button. Spiral Whisper Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek for you using a new download 'Flourishing Flowers' available from Spiral Whisper on 21st March. I have this card simple by printing out the image on to white card {unfortunately I do not have the best printer and it is not perfect but will be lovely on a better printer!} I have then added gem stones to the image, mounted to purple CS and ribbon wrapped around. Dies to Die for Competition

"This will be open until Saturday the 21st March and the difference being that we are making cards for a cause. A friend of mine, Kirsty Wiseman, is collecting cards for all the wonderful soldiers out in Afghanistan. They obviously do not have shops out there and cannot buy cards to send home to loved ones, etc. They are after all sorts of messages from 'Happy Birthday' , 'Get Well Soon', 'Happy Anniversary, anything that you can make that can be sent to them. Please do not forget to send them with an envelope :o) and in a card bag please!"

Wishing You A Day ...

Woohoo! Today is release day for all the new Elzybells stamps! :0) For todays card I have used the Mini Messages - Critters set again - I just LOVE this set! This time I have stamped the very cute snail with flower image, coloured with Copics and cut out using a Label One Nestabilities die; added to base with 3D foam pads. The base has been made by layering up SU Certainly Celery CS and paper from the BG Urban Prairie pad {I am loving this at the mo!} on to a white card blank. I have then run a piece of the CS through my Cuttlebug using the Stylized Flowers embossing folder and added Tim Holtz Broken China distressing ink around the edges {I did this with the BG paper too} and added this to the base. The message has been stamped and cut out using a Nestabilities label die. Gem stones coloured with a Copic marker added to the message. I hope you have enjoyed looking at my sneak peeks, thank you for your company and I am sure you will love all the stamps, so let me know which ones you buy won't you?!

Here is my second card using the Elzybells Mini Messages - Critters set. This time I have used the very cute beehive stamp and coloured with Copics, cut out and mounted to base with 3D foam pads. The base is a piece of yellow paper from the BG Urban Prairie pad added to card blank, linen thread wrapped around and buttons added. Message stamped in the bottom corner. Only one more sleep till the release tomorrow ... are you excited?! I know I am! :0)

Flutter By Butterfly

For todays Elzybells sneak peeks I will be showing you one of my favourite sets of all time - Mini Messages Critters. I love it, it is SO cute! This set is great for all occasions and there is loads of sentiments and very cute images. For my first card I have kept is really simple and stamped the flower and butterfly image on to a mini sqaure linen card blank and coloured with Copics and the message stamped in the corner. Girl in Postage

The Faux Postage set is not just for envelopes! For this card I used one of the postage frames stamped it and then masked it off; stamped Birthday Girl inside and coloured with Copics. This has then been cut out and mounted to base with 3D foam pads. The base been made by simply layering a piece of paper from the BG Urban Prairie pad and ribbon wrapped around. Message {from yesterdays Mini Tags set} stamped in the bottom corner. I hope to see you tomorrow for day 3!

Funky Envelopes

For my sneak peeks today I will be showing you another fab versatile set, this one is called Faux Postage. This set is great for decorating envelopes which is what I have done here. I have stamped one of the postage stamps out and added a picture inside {this is an extra sneak peek for you!} and coloured with Copics. For the back I have stamped one of the messages out "sealed with a lick as a kiss won't stick!" how cute is that!! I think these little touches gives the usuall boring white envelopes a little extra. Did you see some great sneak peeks yesterday? I have another one for you later ...

A Little Something

Here is my second card using the fab Mini Tags set from Elzybells. I wanted to show you that the messages are great on there own or in a tag so this is just a simple card using one of the messages. I have stamped the gorgeous Teddy Heart Balloon from the Valentines release on to white card and coloured with Copics, message stamped in the corner, mounted to pink CS and added to card blank. Beautiful Flowers

Woohoo! Today is the start of a new release for Elzybells Art Stamps. The DT will be showing sneak peeks up to and including the release day on Monday :0) For my first sneak peek I am showing you a fab set called Mini Tags which you can mix and match tags with mini sentiments - a very useful set. I have stamped one of the flowers from the Funky Flowers set on to a white card blank and coloured with Copics. I have then added a strip of DB Gumdrop CS which has been run through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder below and wrapped ribbon around. The tag has been stamped then cut out and message stamped inside, added with a DB sugar coated brad. Gem stones added to finish.
