Happy Birthday Natalie!

I made this card for Natalie using one of my new gorgeous Lelo stamps available from Dies to Dies for. I have coloured the image with Copics {quite happy with the colouring on this one actually!} cut out and added to base with 3D foam pads. The base is SU! Rose Red CS and Designer papers, added following the Sketch Saturday #33 sketch. Message stamped and cut out using a Nestabilities tag die, added with a brad and 3D foam pads. Flowers coloured with my Copic marker and added with gem stones. I hope you liked it Natalie and Happy Belated Birthday!

Gavin The Givin' Dragon

I have made this card for my Grandad using the fab Gavin The Givin' Dragon stamp from High Hopes - available from Dies to Die for. I have stamped Gavin and coloured him with Copics, cut out using Nestabilites and mounted to base with 3D foam pads. The base is Basic Grey papers which have been sponged around the edges with Tim Holtz Distressing Ink. Sentiment stamped and Dew Drops added to finish.

Elzybells Challenge 12 - Valentines Treat

This fortnight the challenge over at Elzybells has been set by Elizabeth and it is to make a Valentines Treat/Gift. As you can see I have gone with the treat option but they are as a gift too ... well unless I eat them myself! I had to be fairly quick with this one as I have just been on night shifts. I bought some yummy heart marshmallows and champagne chocolates from M&S and decorated them.

The marshmallows were already in the lovely bag so I have tied it up with pink and white organza ribbon and added a tag. I have stamped the gorgeous newly released bear with heart and coloured him in with Copics, cut him out and added him to a Nestabilties scallop circle with 3D foam pads. The back of the tag reads "you have special place in my heart" using an elzybells message stamp but I forgot to take a photo of this!

For the chocolates I have popped them in a tin which has a strip of CS running around and I have stamped the heart from the S-moo-ches set around using VersaMark ink. The message on the top has been stamped then cut out using a Nestabilities label die and added with gem stones and 3D foam, the hearts have been stamped again this time using pink on white CS, cut out, glittered with my Spica pen and added to the tin with 3D foam pads too.

With Thanks Notelet

I made this little notelet to say thanks to my mum for the lovely presents she gave me for Christmas {yes, I am WAY behind!!} I have run a piece of PTI Aqua Mist CS through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder and added this to a small white card blank after wrapping a piece of ribbon around one end. I stamped the sentiment and cut out using my new Nestabilities Curved Rectangles dies and added to the card - simple as that!

I have noticed that my counter has come back!! It is now over 100,000 visitors - thank you each and every one of you, I cannot believe it! lol I will be running some blog candy soon! :0)

New Job

I made this card for my brother who started a new IT job last week. I downloaded the pic from Cuddy Buddly and the image is © Kim McFarlane. I have digitially altered it slightly and coloured with my Copics, cut out and mounted to base with 3D foam pads. the base is a thin DL covered with Pebbles Inc papers. Elzybells sentiment stamped, cut out and also mounted with 3D foam pads.

My Counter Has Gone!

My counter has gone at the bottom of my blog, I know this has happened to a few people too, I am hoping it is going to come back 'cos I was almost at 100,000!! I want to do blog candy when I reach this and I know it was about 98,900 or something. If it doesn't come back soon I will do candy anyway and get a new one!!

So here is my last sneak peek for the new Elzybells stamps. I hope you have enjoyed looking at them, I really enjoyed making them and hope to see lots of cards made with the new stamps by you all soon! I have stamped bear with flowers image, coloured with Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor, cut out with Nestabilities and added to base with 3D foam pads. Here is my second card of the day, again using the very cute bear with flowers. I love the versatility of these stamps, you can use them for so many occasions. I have teamed him up this time with a sentiment already released to make a thank you card. I have stamped him out and coloured with Coloursoft pencils & Sandodor, cut out using Nestabilities dies and added to base with 3D foam pads. The base is simply a white card blank which I have added DB CS to and then two strips of DB Spring Melody paper the bottom cut using the SU! scallop border punch {again!} Greeting stamped at the bottom.

Elzybells Valentines Release Day!

Well today is the day, it has finally arrived. The gorgeous new Elzybells stamps are to be released today! First up is a card I have made with another very gorgeous bear, this time he is holding flowers! I have stamped him out and coloured him in with Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor, cut him out and mounted to Bazzill Bling CS and mounted to base with 3D foam pads. Base is pink DB CS which has been run through my Cuttlebug using the Hearts embossing folder and 2 strips of Craftwork Cards Pearlescent paper added, the pink one cut using the SU! scallop border punch. Ribbon wrapped around and tied at front, QuicKutz heart cut from Bazzill Bling added to the ribbon. I have another two sneak peeks for you today, it would be lovely if you could pop back to see them :0)

Here is another card using the gorgeous bear with pillow stamp. I have stamped him out and coloured him in with Copic markers, cut him out with a Nestabilities Label 2 die and added to base with 3D foam pads. The base is made by layering up SU! Regal Rose CS with some patterned paper from the SU! Sweet Always set on to a white card blank. Message stamped {I have masked off the & Kisses part} and cut out using a Nestabilities tag die and added to card with a brown brad. For the base I have followed Dawnys Sketch for PTW #5; I have layered up Doodlebug CS and paper. The bottom strip has been run through my Cuttlebug Using the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder, the strip to the right is 'Lilac Velvet' paper and the CS behind the image is velvet CS. Tempting Turquoise and I have added a strip of white which the bottom has been cut using the SU! scallop border punch and then added a strip of patterned paper from the SU! Today is the second day of sneaky peeks for the new Elzybells stamps and I have a lovely new clear set to showcase today. Kept this card quite simple, I have stamped the gorgeous sheep and coloured him in with Copics, cut out and mounted to base with 3D foam pads. Anniversary Bear

Here is my second sneaky peek of the day using the gorgeous bear stamp again. This time I have changed the colour to make it into an anniversary card; that is the great thing about the new stamps - they can be used for so many occasions! :0) I have stamped the bear and coloured with Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor, cut out using Nestabilities and mounted to base with 3D foam pads. The base is shades of DB lilac CS, ribbon wrapped around and tied at front. Message stamped using the clear messages set and cut out using a Nestabilities label die, added with a gorgeous DB velvet brad that I got from Santa! Gem stones added to finish. Elzybells Valentines Bear

Elzybells is releasing some gorgeous valentines stamps on Monday and us DT have some sneaky peeks for you! Here is mine for day one. I have stamped out the gorgeous bear and coloured him in with Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor, cur him out using Nestabilities and added to base with 3D foam pads. The base has been made by layering up DB pink CS and running the lighter shade through my Cuttlebug using a Sizzix Texturz plate. Sizzix heart die cut from DB velvet CS and message added on top with baby heart. Check back later ... I may have another sneak peek for you!!

Elzybells Challenge 11

This fortnights challenge over at Elzybells is one by Jeanne. It is to make a card using the colours pink, blue and green. I did cheat a bit and added some yellow - please forgive me Elizabeth!! I have stamped out the gorgeous sheep and chicks from the Sheep Celebrations 2 set and coloured them in with Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor. Cut out and mounted to SU! Bashful Blue CS this has then been added to base with DST. The base is simply a sheet of paper from the DCWV Spring Stack. Message made on PC and cut out using a Nestabilities label die with one end cut off - added with a sparkly brad. Making Memories clip added to the image panel and 2 Prima Flowers added with a blue sparkly brad to finish.
