Enjoy Your Special Day

Here is another card I made a while ago. I made it for my lovely friend Ruth. I first took some PTI SS White CS and made it into a card base, I then added a layer of PTI Raspeberry Fizz CS with 3D adhesive squares follwed by more white. I have stamped the PTI Beautiufl Butterflies with PTI inks in Raspberry Fizz, Spring Moss and Sweet Blush. The largest butterfly was die cut with the co-ordinating die and added with rhionestones to the centre. The smallest one I have cut with scissors and added with a rhinestone also. The sentiment, from the same set, has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.

Supplies:

Sorry about the photos but it was the best I could get. The sun seems to be out today at long last, have a great day!

90th Birthday

Hi all, lovely weather for ducks hey?! I am sure it is natures way of saying we don't need a hosepipe ban! Anyway, I am here to share the card I have made for my nan for her 90th Birthday on Wednesday. I have made it following the sketch challenge at Less Is More (so glad to be back particpating in this fab challenge blog!). I have first taken a sheet of white card and run it through my printer to make the sentiment using Cordia New and Scriptina fonts and made it into a card base. I have then cut a square using a Nestabilities square die and gone round the edges with PTI Vintage Cream ink using an Inkessential Blending Tool. I have cut out two MFT Die-Namics Leafy Flourishes and done the same with these then added to the square. I have then taken a sheet from the MME Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks collection and cut out the MFT Die-Namics Royal Rose and asembled. I have rounded the edges slightly with an embossing tool and then added a pearl bead to the centre and added to the square panel. I have cut two little butterflies using the MS 3 in 1 Butterfly punch, inked them slightly and added to the panel. I have finished off with SU! mini pearls.

Supplies:

Kind of a different card from me today, I love the vintagey style but I am more of a clean kind of girl! This was my second attempt, I first inked up the edges with a tea dye ink and I thought it just looked dirty not vintage! lol. Thanks for visiting me today.

Gratitude

Here is another card I made a few months ago. I made it for a very lovely lady who kindly did a massive favour for me. I first took some PTI Kraft CS and made it into a little 3x3" card base and rounded the corners with my WRMK Corner Chomper. I then took a piece of PTi Stampers Select CS and rounded the corners also. I then took one of the butterflies from the PTI Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and stamped with PTI Kraft CS on to the panel. I have then stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on top. I have wrapped around with SU! Linen Thread and added a PTI Kraft Button and a little tab of PTI Krfat Stain Ribbon. The layer has been added to the base with 3D adhesive squares.

Thank you for visiting me today, I really appreciate it. Have a great day!

On Your Baptism

Here is a card I made a couple of months ago for my friend's daughters Baptism. She is only a baby so the card was more for her mum really. I have taken a white card blank and used one of my favourite layouts for CAS cards. I have taken a sheet from the MME Miss Caroline Howdy Doody pack and cut it with a Nestabilities Circle and added this off the edge of the card blank and cut off the excess. I have then cut a border using the MFT Die-Namics Solid Bracket Border from white CS and added this on top. I have made the sentiment on my PC using the Scriptina and Century Gothic fonts and printed this on to another sheet from the Howdy Doody collection. This has been added to the base with 3d adhesive squares. I have cut some butterflies out of PTI Linen Vellum CS using the Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly Medium & Large Punches and added MME Lush Rhinestones to their bodies.

Supplies:

Thank you so much for visiting me today, horrible weather here is Surrey the last two days - non stop rain. I hope it is better where you are.

Easter Cards Part Two

Here are the other two cards I made for Easter. The first one was for my mum and I used the Lucky Bunnies stamp set by The Greeting Farm again. The image was coloured with Copics and cut out using a Nestabilities square die and added to the base with 3D adhesive squares. the base is more paper from the Doodlebug Hello Spring collection mounted to Doodlebug Fairy Dust CS and wrapped around with Making Memories Twill Ribbon (unable to link to supplies as no longer available) and then the greeting from the Lizzie Anne Designs Celebration Sayings (sorry no longer available) stamped and cut out using a Nestabilities Label Four die. Finished off with Pearls from the Doodlebug Hello Spring Pearl collection. The inside is decorated with the same papers and butterflies using the MS 3 in 1 Butterfly Punch.

Supplies:

The second card was for my nan. I used the PTI Flowers Fusion #11 stamp set and die. I stamped the flower stems on the panel using PTI Spring Moss ink and then the flower heads using PTI Summer Sunrise ink. For the middle one I have cut it out with the co-ordinating die and popped it up on 3D foam pads and added a pearl. The greeting is from a (no longer available) Elzybells Art Stamps set. I have layered this on to PTI Spring Moss CS, wrapped with Doodlebug Doodle Twine in Tangerine and added this to a card blank with 3D adhesive squares.

Supplies:

Thanks so much for visiting me today, I will back soon with some more cards. Have a good day!

Mother's Day 2012

Hi there, so I have a lot of cards to show you that I made while PCless. The first one I made was the card for my Mum for Mother's Day. I got the inspiration from THIS card that I found via Pinterest. First I took some PTI Kraft CS and made it into a DL card base, I then added a strip of PTI Stampers Select White CS. I tehn pucnhed the butterflies using the Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch in large and medium and the 3 in 1 Butterfly punch out of various colours of Doodlebug CS. I have then adorned each one with the co-ordinating Doodlebug Mini Jewel. The greeting from the PTI Happy Day set has been stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

My Favourite Things Haul

Hi there, I have another haul video to show you. I think this will be my last for a while as I plan on not buying much craft stuff in the next few months. For two reasons a) I have bought enough new products in the last two months to last me a while! and b) I am saving up for for something non craft related. Anyways ... here is the video:

Products bought direct from MFT Stamps in the US. They came really quickly, excellent customer service and very good shipping cost. I wish had just done one order though and paid only one customs charge! Never mind, I live and learn. If you want any of these products but don't want to buy from the US I suggest Dies to Die for where I usually buy my MFT products.

Thanks for visiting and watching today, hoping to get my PC back this weekend (hopefully) and then can upload all my cards I have made while PC-less. Have a great day!

Paper Smooches Stamps Haul

Hi everyone, I have another haul to show you. Since I haven't been making cards as much (seems strange when I can't blog them) while my PC is being fixed, I have been buying instead lol. Today's haul video is Paper Smooches stamps. The first lot is direct from Paper Smooches in the US and the second lot are from Make The Day Special here in the UK.

Thanks for visiting and watching today, I will be back on Wednesday with a card for the new Dies to Die for challenge. I still don't have my PC back yet but have been trying to sort out getting a watermark added to my photos on my iPad and I think I have sorted it (at long last!).

Echo Park Blog Candy ... Now Closed

Hi all, following my last post about the candy it turned my blog weird. I think it was the link, it made my sidebar go to the bottom of the post and no one could comment on it so I have had to remove it. Thank you to those that kindly emailed me about it, much appreciated. Sorry to those who already entered but could you please re-enter with a comment instead.

So anyway, back to normal service ... since I still don't have a working PC I thought I would share the love by giving away some Echo Park paper.

Up for grabs is two Echo Park 6x6 paper pads - For The Record and Victoria Garden:

All you have to do is leave me a comment below and I will randomly pick a winner on Monday 16th April 2012. Open Worldwide. Only one comment per person. Good luck!

**THE DRAW IS NOW CLOSED, NO FURTHER ENTRIES WILL COUNT. I WILL DRAW A WINNER ON WEDNESDAY**

March Random Haul

Here is another small haul video. This is what I have been buying in the last couple of weeks. I have called it a random haul as it really is random - these items have been bought from different websites - Dies to Die for, The Glitter Pot, Quixotic Paperie and Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Hope you enjoyed watching, still no PC for me yet but hopefully I'll get it back soon! I really am hating being without it. Thanks for visiting.
