VIDEO | Making Envelopes

Hello there, quite a while ago Sarah mentioned to me that she struggles a little to use the WRMK Envelope Punch Board. A couple of other people have mentioned that to me too so I thought it was about time to do a video tutorial.

It is actually an easy tool to use, once you understand the basics. I like to use thick paper or thin cardstock for my envelopes. I have loads of 12x12" Bazzill cardstock so that is perfect to use. I secure the flaps of the envelope using extra strong red line tape. For the flap that the recipient opens, I either use repositionable adhesive or normal double sided tape. You can buy envelope glue but for some reason I have never liked the idea of that stuff!

Here is the video:

In the video, I used inches but it works the same for mm or cm. Once you get the hang of what measurements matter, it is quite easy and quick to use. I hope that helps those that have been struggling to use it. Thanks for visiting me and have a lovely day!

Clearly Whimsy Stamps Sneak Peeks Day 2

Hello there and welcome to day two of the Clearly Whimsy Stamps debut release sneak peeks. Today myself and the rest of the DT and GDT are sharing more peeks with you. If you hop along with us like yesterday and leave us a comment on every step of the way you will be entered into the draw to win a $15 gift certificate to spend in the Whimsy Stamps Store. All of the cards and links to the blogger sharing today are on the Whimsy Stamp Blog.

For my card today I have used the new Feeling Fruity stamp set along with the Feeling Fruity Die set. I have first made the base which is all white on white as you can see. I have cut a tag using a Sizzix die and then punched a whole in the top and added some WRMK Floss to it. This has been added to the base with 3D foam pads. I have then stamped the sentiment from the stamp set, cut this out and popped on top of the tag. The strawberry has been cut using the die set and then liberally covered using the Wink of Stella clear brush pen. This has been added tot he tag with more 3D foam.

Dandelion Dreams - CBS Teaser

Hello there and welcome to day three of Clearly Besotted Teasers! Not long to go now, all the products will be available to buy tomorrow :0) Today I am sharing with you the beautiful Dandelion Dreams set. I have kept my card very simple and stamped the Dandelion heads with PTI Winter Wisteria ink and the stems with PTI Spring Moss ink. The sentiment (also from the set) is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink. I added a couple of Doodlebug Pearls to the Dandelion centres and rounded the corners of the card base to finish.

Say It In Style - CBS Teasers

Hello there, today is the day! All the new products will be available in the shop tonight at 10pm. For my last day of Clearly Besotted teasers today I am using the new Say It In Style stamp set. I have used this set on a few cards this week and it is amazing! You will love it, It is packed full of great sentiments in the most gorgeous fonts ... can you tell I love it?!

For my card today I have used the large belated birthday sentiment and stamped this on to a panel of white CS with memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I have then taken the present from the It's Your Birthday set, stamped this with PTI Winter Wisteria ink on to separate piece of CS and then cut out using the matching die. I have added this to the panel with 3D foam and then liberally covered with my Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (yes I am obsessed with this!). The panel has been added to a PTI Winter Wisteria CS base and then finished off with teeny 2mm rhinestones.

I still have a few sets that I haven't 'teased' with you yet as I couldn't fit them all in but I will be using them soon. Please pop by Stephanie's Blog for the reveal of the stamps and dies in full as well as links to the other DT members who are sharing teasers today. I will also be back later with my release video. Thanks for visiting me today!

Christmas Tag

Hello there, today I am sharing a Christmas tag that I made over the weekend with you. This actually started out as a card idea but as I was making it I thought it would look better as a tag. I have used some of my new Simon Says Stamp goodies for the tag. Loving these products!
