Hello there, today I have a card to share using the Simon Says Stamp Blooming Flower Stencils & Die. The stencil set creates a no-line look with the petals and stem/leaves. I found it easier to line up the stencils on top of the die cut, rather than stencilling and then die cutting.

disclosure.
I started off by die cutting the Simon Says Stamp Blooming Flower Die from white cardstock. I then placed the Simon Says Stamp Blooming Flower Stencils on top, one by one, to add ink blending on top. I used Altenew Fresh Dye Inks in Aqualcious and Hydrangea for the petals, and Firefly, Grass Field and Shadow Creek (Green Valley collection) for the leaves and stem.
I took a white US A2 sized card base and placed the Simon Says Stamp Brick Wall Stencil on top. I added ink blending, just around where the flower will be, using Altenew Wisteria Fresh Dye Ink. I removed the stencil and then mixed Wisteria and Hydrangea Ink with a little water and splattered them on top for some added interest.
The flower was adhered on top using thin foam squares. I stamped a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp CZ Silhouette Sentiments Stamp Set onto black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip using the Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Dies and adhered to the card with more thin foam squares. To finish, I embellished with Simon Says Stamp Moonshine Sequins.

Obviously I went with a very non-realistic colour scheme for the flower but that's the great thing about cardmaking, the flowers can be any colour you want! There are lots of examples on the Simon Says Stamp website though of crafters using more realistic colours if mine isn't your thing. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day!
