Hero Arts | Lotus Flower

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the new Lotus Flower Die from the Hero Arts Tranquil Garden Collection. This is such a pretty collection with products featuring lotus flowers.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by die cutting the Hero Arts Lotus Flower Die from Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock. I cut the flower petals from Blush, the flower centres from Beeswax and the stems and leaves from Peridot

I placed them on my sticky mat and added ink blending on top. I used Hero Arts Ultra Pink and Grape Juice Core Inks for the petals, Hero Arts Butter Bar Core Ink for the centres, and Hero Arts Green Hills Core Ink for the stems and leaves.

The flowers were then assembled and adhered together using Bearly Art Glue. I adhered the stems and leaves flat to a US A2 sized card base made from Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock. I then adhered the flower heads on top with thin foam tape.

I stamped the Hero Arts Everyday Sentiments 2 Stamp Set onto more Pitch Black Cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut into strips using the Hero Arts Sentiment Strips Fancy Die. I adhered the 'happy birthday' one to the card with more thin foam tape. To finish, I added white gel pen dots.

I really love how the flowers/stems/leaves pop against the black background but I do think this would look pretty on any kind of background. I love those lotus flowers! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day and a great weekend!
