Hero Arts | Layered Lilac

Hello there, it's release day over at Hero Arts and there are two new collections - Spring Meadow and Egg-stra Special. Today I have a card to share using the Spring Meadow Collection.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by die cutting the flowers from the Hero Arts Layered Lilac Die Set from Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock. I used Lilac for the base layer, Lavender for the middle layer, and Fairy Tale for the top individual flower layer. I die cut the flower centres from Lavender

The layers were adhered one on top of another using liquid glue. I left some of the middle layer showing through so that the flowers were multi layered. I die cut the stems and base layer of the leaves from Spellbinders Rainforest ColorWheel Cardstock and the veining on the leaves from Spellbinders Peridot ColorWheel Cardstock

I adhered the stems and leaves flat to a US A2 sized white card base using liquid glue. I then adhered the lilacs using thin foam tape. I stamped the new Hero Arts Everyday Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set (it is all one big stamp) onto Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set.

It was cut into strips using the Hero Arts Sentiment Strips Fancy Die. I cut the ends of the strip down from the 'happy birthday' sentiment and then adhered it to the card using more liquid glue. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems

I think these lilacs are so pretty, and not just because they are purple in colour! I layered them flat but for more dimension, you could add the layers with foam tape. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a great rest of the weekend!
