Simon Says Stamp | Beautiful Blooms

Hello there, I hope you are well and your week is going smoothly so far. Today I have a card to share using the new Beautiful Blooms set from the Simon Says Stamp Sunny Vibes release, which is out now. This is such a pretty set and I was delighted when I received it in the post/mail!

I started off my card by stamping most of the images from the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Blooms Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then coloured them using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies list for reference). Not a fan of colouring? There is a coordinating stencil set to colour these flowers using ink blending.

I fussy cut them out using scissors and then adhered them to a panel of white cardstock using thin foam squares. A few of the leaves were adhered down flat, with Bearly Art Glue. I adhered the panel to a US A2 sized white card base with thin foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment from the set onto black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied WOW! Bright White Super Fine Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip using a Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Die and then adhered to the card with more thin foam squares. To finish off, I embellished with Spellbinders Opal Mix Color Essentials Gems

Simon Says Stamp also kindly sent me their new Microfiber Cleaning Cloth. I use cloths around my craft room for so many different things - cleaning stamps, cleaning tools, cleaning off ink blending brushes when changing colours/shades ... the list goes on! For this one, since the stamp set was new and I didn't get a great impression first time, I wet the cloth a little with water and then wiped it over the stamps. This made the ink cling to them better and I got a much better stamped impression the second time.

The fussy cutting did take me a while to do but I think it was still quicker than me making masks and having to cut those out. I love the added little bit of dimension by cutting them out too! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a lovely day!
