Hello there and welcome as we celebrate the release of the Hero Arts June 2023 My Monthly Hero Kits and add-on products. The release this month is all about the beach and ocean.

disclosure.
My first card today uses the Hero Arts June 2023 My Monthly Hero Classic Kit. I started off by stamping the sun image from the kit stamp set on to a panel of Hero Arts Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock using Hero Arts Lemon Yellow Core Ink. I then stamped the clouds underneath using Hero Arts Passion Flower Core Ink.
Below that, I stamped the first layer of the water using Hero Arts Orchid Core Ink. I then stamped the sun reflections using Hero Arts Lemon Yellow Core Ink, followed by the last layer for the water using Hero Arts Amethyst Core Ink. The panel was adhered to a US A2 sized card base made from Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock.
I die cut the frame die in the kit from a panel of Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock and adhered it to the front of the card using black thin foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the kit stamp set on to black cardstock using Hero Arts Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder, heat set and cut it into a strip. It was adhered to the card with more thin foam tape.
In case you missed them, for my Countdown cards, I used the same Hero Arts June 2023 My Monthly Hero Classic Kit main stamp set and created the same scene but using different ink colours. I stamped accompanying images on top in black ink and created mini shaped cards. You can see more details on them HERE.
My last card today uses two new add-on sets. I started off by die cutting the turtle from the Hero Arts Sea Creatures Fancy Dies set from Hero Arts Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock, twice. I coloured the shell on one piece using Copic Markers - BG49, BG57, BG45 & YG01. On the other piece, I coloured the turtle's head and legs/flippers using G29, YG17, YG23, YG01 (+ 110 for the eye) Copic Markers.
I cut the shell off of the first piece and adhered it on to the second die cut where I coloured the body. This helped me with the colouring but also popped the shell up a little bit. I then stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts Sea Quotes Stamp & Die Bundle on to white cardstock using Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink. It was die cut with the coordinating die.
For the background, I took a panel of Yupo Paper and added a layer of Isopropyl Alcohol on top, followed by drops of Ranger Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks in Aqua, Patina, Turquoise and Mermaid. I used an Air Blower tool to move the ink around. I splattered on some Isopropyl Alcohol with a brush and then set it aside to dry.
Once dry, It was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base using tape runner adhesive. The turtle and sentiment were adhered on top using foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Hero Arts Clear Enamel Dots.
