Spellbinders | January 2022 Large Die of the Month

Hello there, today I have a card to share with you using the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club Kit. If you have followed me for a little while, you will know that I usually work with the Small Die of the Month Club Kit. I decided to try the large kit this year and no doubt I will love it just as much as the small! If you are in the UK, make sure to check below for some exciting news!

The kit this month is called "A Pocketful of Love" and it features a beautiful intricate design that can be used as a pocket. What I love about the kits though, is that you can use them in so many different ways, so I went for a CAS design today.

I started off my card by die cutting the heart die from the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club Kit from Spellbinders Snowdrift Cardstock three times. I then die cut the elements for the flower from white too. I wanted some dimension on my card but didn't want to use foam tape, so layered up cardstock instead. I added the flower elements on to the heart first, using Bearly Art Glue to adhere them.

I then die cut the flower elements from colours of cardstock. I used Spellbinders Rainforest for the stem and leaves and Purple Mist, Lilac Blossom and Royal Amethyst for the flower head. They were adhered on top of the white layers. I then added the other two heart pieces behind for some added dimension. I took a panel of Spellbinders Onyx Cardstock and scored lines in to it.

It was adhered to an A2 white card base with tape runner adhesive. I then added the heart and flower piece of top with more Bearly Art Glue. I took the sentiment from Spellbinders Yana's Tiny Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set and foiled it on to black cardstock with Spellbinders Silver Foil and the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with thin foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Spellbinders Silver Mix Color Essential Gems

I hope that you will check out the Spellbinders Club Kits. It is a wonderful monthly subscription where you receive the kit each month. Designers like myself share inspiration using the kit at the beginning of the month to show you lots of different ways that you can use it. There are also lots of other club kits too, like the Small Die of the Month and Stamp & Clear Die of the Month (plus lots more!), so there is something for everyone! If you do subscribe, you will get other benefits from Spellbinders too. Please see here for more information. You can also buy older kits here too.

GREAT NEWS! If you are in the UK, Spellbinders will now ship the kits directly from here in the UK for Club Kit Subscribers (Club Kits only). That means reduced shipping costs and no extra fees! Woohoo! If you have been putting off subscribing to the kits because of this, now is the time to do it!

If you do want to get hold of this month's kit, you would need to subscribe by 24th January 2022 to receive it. Subscribers can cancel their membership at any time.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day!
