Altenew | Craft Your Life Project Kit: Feathered Lilies Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello there, today sees the release of this month's Craft Your Life Project Kit called Feathered Lilies and it is so pretty! Lilies are my favourite flowers and this kit really makes them pop! there is more information on the kit below but as always, the kit consists of a stamp set, die set, stencil and embossing folder. We are celebrating the release of the kit with a fun blog hop. Please see below for more details.

For my card, I started off by stamping the large lilies bouquet from the Altenew Craft Your Life Feathered Lilies Project Kit on to white cardstock with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. Although this image would be stunning to colour, I decided to use the Simple Coloring Stencils in the kit to colour my images with inks. 

I used Altenew Small Ink Blending Tools and Altenew Sugarplums Crisp Dye Inks for the flower petals, adding in a little Shades of Purple to brighten them up a little. Altenew Fall Harvest Crisp Dye Inks for the stamens and Altenew Green Fields Crisp Dye Inks for the leaves and stems. The image was cut out with the die set in the kit. 

The image was adhered to an A2 white card base with Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I then took the sentiment from the stamp set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Altenew Embossing Ink. I applied Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with layers of more black cardstock (for a little dimension). To finish off, I added  a few Bubbles from my stash.
