Reverse Confetti | September 2021 Release Blog Hop

Hello there, I am delighted to be joining Reverse Confetti today to celebrate the release of the September 2021 Release. There is something for everyone in this release - autumn/fall, a little bit of holiday/Christmas and also Halloween. Plus products that can be used all year round too! I was kindly sent some of the super cute Halloween items for my projects today. We are celebrating the release with a fun blog hop, more on that below.

For my card, I started off by die cutting the new Reverse Confetti All Lined Up Cover Panel Confetti Cuts from white cardstock. I also cut it from purple, orange and black cardstock, so I could inlay the stripes. The white panel was adhered on to an A2 white card base and then the stripes added inside for the inlay look. I then took the new Reverse Confetti Layered Boo Confetti Cuts and cut the bottom layer three times from white cardstock and the top layer twice from black cardstock.

I also cut it once from black glitter paper. They were layered up with glue and then adhered to the card. I took the sentiment from the new Reverse Confetti Halloween Sentiments Stamp Set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with foam tape. To finish off, I added Lucy's Ebony Mix Crystals around the sentiment and tiny googly eyes on the boo.

My next projects use the new Boo Day set, which is super cute! I thought I would create some tags with the images. I started off by die cutting the Reverse Confetti Fold Over Window Tag Confetti Cuts twice from Lavender cardstock. Using an ink blending tool, I blended Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Wilted Violet and Black Soot around the edges of the tags.

For the ghost one, I added white cardstock inside, followed by a piece of vellum. For the cat one, I simply added vellum only. They were folded up and adhered closed. I took the ghost and cat images from the Reverse Confetti Boo Day Stamp Set and stamped them on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. They were coloured using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies area) and then fussy cut out with scissors but there are dies available.

For the ghost tag, I took the 'boo!' sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Halloween Sentiments Stamp Set and stamped it on to the front of the tag with black ink. The images were then adhered on top with foam tape. To finish off, I added twine through the top of them.
