Hello there, for my craft favourites 2015 today, I am taking about adding colour to images or to background pieces - anything o do with colour really!
Marker pens, water colour markers, pencils, water colours - I love them all. I will also briefly talk about some watercolour accessories that I find helpful to use as well.

ReplyDeleteI love to use watercolor or use a brush and distress inks! Those are my two main ways! I've also been loving my clean color real brush markers too!

I would have to say mine are the copics, but after seeing your creations earlier this year I'm eager to try the Zig Clean Colour real brush pens as soon as I get my hands on some! I've made most of my 'colour' purchases this year and my absolute favourites are Distress Inks and Inktense pencils. I was lucky enough to receive some Gansai Tambi paints for Christmas so I'm looking forward to having a play with those soon! Thanks for this great information and for another chance to win xx

I love to watercolour my images, but I'm still making mistakes and learning more every time I try it, ahaha! I also really like using markers, and my fave coloring find this year were the super cheap alcohol markers from TGR, they're a steal!

I love to colour with copics, it is always my first choice. I have used the Zig Real Brush Pens as well, but I always seem to make a mess of it and it never looks as nice as in your videos ;-) Need more practise :-)

They are so easy to use, come in such lovely colors and the don't hurt my wrists! I am enjoying this series you are doing, it is fun to see your favorites. ReplyDeleteSpectrum noir or copics, so many different colors to choose and spectrums are relatively economical. I also love my Bic xtra fine point markers for those tiny spaces that are difficult to color neatly.

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing giveaway!!! For me it really depends on my mood for that day. I love my Copics, then there is my Inktense Pencils. ( just fabulous),then there is my Distress Markers and pads ( I am crazy over how these blend together and can be used with water)and last but not least by any means is my Kuretake Gansai Watercolors ( so rich and beautiful. I would really love to try the Zigs Real brush Markers but for now they are gong to have to wait but I guess i do tend to reach for my Copics the most as of right now.

I want to get some of that masking tape and those Japanese watercolors. I'll have to see if hubby can pick me up some of those the next time he's in Japan. :)

ReplyDeleteI mostly use pencils to colour my stamped images and then blend it out with blending fluid, this seems to give me the most success at the moment. Thanks for giving me the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMy Copic sketch markers are my #1 go to for coloring. I also used them to color printable vinyl when doing some home decor pieces! For inks, I'm a new fan of Brutus Monroe chalk inks. I find them to be extremely versatile and quite lush in color.

ReplyDeleteThis year I've used a lot of watercolouring, but my all time favourite is just plain simple coloured pencils I bought ages ago of no known brand but it comes in so many different shades it does the work for me. I find it quite difficult to colour with distress pens directly onto the image, so I rather use a waterbrush and a pallette.
