Hello there, for the past few years I have shared my craft favourites each year. I usually combine everything in one or two videos but this year I wanted to split them up in to separate videos and posts. This means that I can do a mini-giveaway on each category :)
Today I am kicking off with stamping. I love stamping! It is one of my favourite techniques with regards to card making. There were some amazing stamp sets released this month. I will be sharing my favourites in the video, along with my most used ink pads, stamping accessories and cleaning products.

My favorite stamp set is the elephant set by Mft and Avery elle. The elves and Santa die stamps from Mft. I also have to say I am a great fan of your cards. You bring life into all the cards you make. They are always so beautiful!

I'm new to stamping, so I don't have a large collection yet, but I have been using a Christmas set from Inkadinkadoo quite a lot. I am also enjoying a Hero Arts background stamp I recently purchased.

ReplyDeletei think my favorite stampset is the Katzelkraft les chats russe, not a widely seen brand (yet on youtube) and or stampset, but I love the grumpy cat, I haven't been able to buy many stampsets and there are just too many releases to keep up, thank you for your review I found I use much of the same supplies and i also struggle with the versafine lid, i tend to fold it under the inkpad nowadays. thank you for all your awesome videos in 2015 i liked that you said the flower in gleeful garden is a sunflower, I've always colored it purple or pink as a daisy lol, purple and lilac being my favorite colors, might have to give yellow and orange a chance too haha...Merry Christmas and a happy 2016 xxx love from Holland
ReplyDeleteGreat video Michelle. I have been loving the CBS with the monsters, as I used that set for my boys birthday invitations this year. I don't have a lot of sentiment stamps. I always say to myself to get some more, but then I get overwhelmed by all the lovely image sets and I'm on a limited budget, so my plan to get more sentiments always fly out the window ;-) Thanks for sharing and the oportunity to win 2 lovely sentiment sets. ReplyDeleteLoved your YouTube video Michelle, I have been one of your subscribers for ages now, ever since I found out about Clearly Besotted Stamps, over the last year or so I have bought so many stamps and dies from Stephanie they are all my favourite, if I had to choose though I might have to chose the 3 Hedgehogs or the sheep or the rockin robins or her beautiful flowers, Oh shucks... I think I failed they are all my favourite Lol.

I haven't been able to craft as often as I like this past year. But when I have the opportunity to make cards I find myserlf returning to past Paper Pumpkin kits at least for sentiments. This Christmas my favorite has been Stampin Up Every Blessing. This is such a beautiful stamp set. So easy to make cards from simple to well embellished and all look great. I love the message in the sentiment.

I'm not sure if I have had a favorite stamp set this year, because I think the last time I purchased any stamps was last Christmas, but I have used the Pretty Peonies stamp set from WPlus9 quite a bit this year. It is a beautiful set and I hope to purchase stamp sets similar to it sometime in the future.

I would also say clearly besotted From Our Home, little elves and Santa baby because they are what I made my Christmas cards with this year :)

There are so many amazing stamp sets! I'm not sure if these technically came out in 2015, but I love the Tim holtz bird crazy stamps and have discovered the essentials by Ellen sets - love the bold blooms. I also have the clearly besotted fingerprints stamp set if I can ever get my Hands on it! Thanks for the chance to win!

ReplyDeleteMy favourite stamps this year have been Technique Tuesday's Chickadees. I've been using them mostly for thank you and best wishes cards so am going to be a bit stuck if I want to use them for Easter cards too!!
mmmm this is a hard one but think MFT reindeer games and Mama Elephant Tiny Heros also wanted Luna Animals but by time I saw it ,it was out of stock so looks like a new years purchase for me.

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick one favorite stamp set when there are so many, but I always like The Alley Way Stamp sets and unfortunately the business is closing down. My other favorites are Simon Says stamps and My Favorite Things. I haven't purchased any Clearly Besotted stamps yet but I do like the one's you show.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite release of the year must be Mama Elephants "Tandem Ride." I've made some ADOREABLE cards with these critters! I also really like Lawn Fawns "Scripty Sayings." I'm not sure if that one was released this year, but I just got it this year and love it!

I have purchased some Altenew layering stamps that I have really enjoyed this year. I also love Crazy Birds by Tim Holz as well.

ReplyDeleteI have bought quite a few Stampin Up sets this year (mostly retired ones). As far as more recent stamps go, I purchased PTI camping set - I have forgotten it's name, it has mini caravans on it and is for making small 3D caravans. I don't have the matching die, I just use it to create pretty camping scenes.

ReplyDeletereally informative - may have to invest in a scrubber pad, great give away too. My favourite stamps this year have been the Concord & 9th eat cake and celebrate stamp and die set.

ReplyDeleteThe squirrel set on the video is precious. I really love Lawn Fawn critter stamps, I think they are adorable. And another of my favorite stamps are the Altenew stamp sets, I have the layered roses and love to use them.

My favorite stamps are the Gina Marie Bible verses 4.I donate most of my cards to several churches and this set is very uplifting.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites this year have been anything from the Lawn Fawn holiday release and MFT London Mouse. I have some very good friends that live in Harlow and have visited the UK several times to see them and now seem to like any stamp set with London or UK theme.
