Warmest Wishes

Hello there, today I am back with another card using the amazing new Snow Day release from Purple Onion Designs. This time I am using Flurry the snowman. Isn't he just adorable?!

I started off by taking a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and cutting this with the ME Femme Frames rectangle die. I then stamped Flurry on to this using MFT Black Hybrid ink. I then stamped the sentiment below. The image was coloured using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens, water and a brush.

I took an A2 white card base and adhered a sheet of paper from the Doodlebug Polar Pals paper pad on to the front of it with ATG. The image panel was then adhered with foam tape. To finish off, I added white gel pen to the background to look like falling snow. I also added clear Wink of Stella to the present.

VIDEO | Let's Build A Snowman!

Hello there, have you seen the new release from Purple Onion Designs? It is called Snow Day and it is illustrated by the amazing Stacey Yacula.

I have the absolute pleasure to be joining in as a guest for this release. The stamps are so very cute! All of these stamps are sold individually (red rubber) so they are great for building up customised scenes. My card today uses the Iceberg background along with Rupert the fox, Wilson the bear and the snowman accessories stamps.

I started off by stamping Wilson on the right hand side of a card panel. I then masked him off and stamped the snowman accessories to the side of him. These were also masked off so that I could stamp Rupert to the left hand side. Rupert was also masked off so that I could add in the mountains in the background. The stamp is part of a larger background with icebergs, but I just wanted the mountains for my card today.

Once all of the masks were removed, I coloured the whole panel using Copic Markers. The panel was adhered to an A2 card base with ATG (I didn't stamp and colour directly on the card base as I wasn't sure how I was going to add the panel at the time!). To finish off, I added little dots of Star Dust Stickles to the snow balls to give a little shine and sparkle.

If you are interested in seeing how I coloured the image panel, I made a speed colour video of it which you can see below:

VIDEO | Craft Room Tour 2016

Hello there, if you have followed me for a little while, you will know how much I love craft organisation and storage. I am forever changing up the way I organise craft products so that they work better for me. I know not everyone can work the way I do, but I love my room to be clean and tidy - I guess you could say my room is clean and simple, just like my card style!

I changed a few things up this year. I added in an extra Ikea Helmer unit under my desk. This now holds my ever growing collection of colouring mediums - pencils, paints etc. I also changed up my 6x6" paper storage (I just moved where they were stored, not the actual organisation for them) and my ink pads storage. To move my inks, I also had to move my 12x12" paper and cardstock storage. This was a good things as they were taking up a lot of space that wasn't necessary.

My main craft desk remains pretty much the same. I just changed up how I film videos. I now have a Manfrotto Magic Arm that is attached to my wall and I can film from directly above (I used to have a monopod that attached to my shelf). I have more about that and links to the products over on my FAQ page.

Enough of my waffling, here is the full video tour:

Like I said in the video, I do have a lot of stuff! I do get comments on occasions about it and I always respond with the same answer. I have been crafting a long time! I do get some products sent to me but I do buy a lot also. I love crafting, I work hard in my real job so that I can afford to buy supplies. It is all just a lifestyle choice :)

As mentioned in the video. I do have separate videos and blog posts on how I store a certain product up close. For ease of finding them, I have the blog post linked below:

Thank you so much for visiting me today. I hope that I may have given you some ideas for storing your craft supplies. I hope you have a great day!
