CB Teasers | Warm Wishes & Halloween Pumpkins

Hello there, not long to wait now until the new Clearly Besotted products will be available to purchase. They will all be released tomorrow evening at 10pm :) I have another two teasers to share today. One winter themed and one Halloween.

My first card uses the new Stitched Mittens stamp set and matching dies. It is perfect for winter cards. I first took the smaller mittens from the set and stamped them on to some kraft cardstock using Versamark ink. I applied WOW! bright White Embossing Powder and then heat set them. These were coloured using Coloursoft pencils.

I took a kraft card base and embossed a rectangle on to using the SSS Stitched Rectangle dies through my Cuttlebug. The sentiment, was again stamped with Versamark and heat set with white EP. The mittens were added with foam tape and then I added a little clear Wink of Stella to them. I love the look of coloured pencils on kraft cardstock.

COLOURSOFT PENCILS: Blue, Pale Blue.

My next card uses the new Giving Thanks stamp set. It is a great mix and match set full of different items to go in a wheelbarrow. I looked at the set a little differently an decided to make a pile of pumpkins for Halloween.

I first stamped the pumpkins using Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured then using Copic Markers. These were then fussy cut out and set aside. I took a panel of white cardstock (cut using a SSS Stitched Rectangle) and applied Distress Inks on to it using a blending tool. I applied Dusty Concord and Black Soot.

The sentiment, from the Many Mini Messages set, was stamped with Veramark and heat embossed with white EP. The pumpkins were then layered on top and a coat of clear WOS added to them. I took a black card base (4"x5") and embossed it using the Docrafts Quilting EF. The panel was added on top with foam tape.

CB Teasers | Santa & Rudolf

Hello there, I am back today to share another two Clearly Besotted teasers with you. Today I have two Christmas cards to share with you. I have to be honest with you, I am definitely not in the Christmas mood just yet but I am loving these sets!

My first card uses the new Santa Baby stamp set. If you loved the elves from last month, I think you are going to love this set too. They are the same size and oh so cute! I took a piece of white cardstock and cut it using the ME Femme Frames rectangle die. Santa and the sentiment were stamped using black ink.

Santa was coloured using Copic Markers (colours listed below the supply list) and I added a little white gelly roll to his hat. The panel was then adhered to a red A2 card base with foam sheet.

My next card uses the new More Sleep stamp set. I love the cute images in this set. I went with Rudolf for my card today.

I started off by stamping him on to tag cut using the Rounded Tag Die. He was then coloured using Copic Markers. The sentiment, from the Sentimental Type stamp set, was stamped on to more white cardstock and cut out. This was added to the tag with foam tape. For the card base, I took some red cardstock and made this ion to an A2 size, top folding card base.

I cut a sheet of paper from the Doodlebug Santa Express paper pad using the ME Femme Frame rectangle die. This was added to the card base and then the tag on top with foam tape. I added a little white twine to the top of the tag. I also added a liberal amount of clear Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to Rudolf's nose.

CB Teasers | With Love

Hello there and welcome to the October Clearly Besotted Teasers. The design team will be sharing teasers with you from the new (huge!) release from now until (and including) the 5th, when they will be released. We have an amazing return Guest Designer with us this month, the amazing Keren Baker. My card today uses the new From Our Home stamp set.

I started off by stamping the heart wreath on to some watercolour paper, using Antique Linen Distress Ink. I then coloured it using Distress Markers in Walnut Stain, Bundled Sage, Forest Moss and Victorian Velvet. I also added a little Tumbled Glass around the outside for some shadow.

The sentiment, from the Friends Forever stamp set, was stamped on more watercolour paper with black ink and then cut out. This was added to the panel with foam tape. The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base and I finished off with a few sequins.

Anniversary Owls

Hello there, happy October! After seeing this amazing card by Kathy Racoosin, I knew I wanted to do something similar for a card for my brother and sister in law for their anniversary. I thought the two owls inside the wreath were just so cute!

I started off with a panel of white cardstock and stamped the wreath, owls, heart and crown from the Mama Elephant Charmed stamp set, with black ink, masking off as I went. The image was then coloured using Copic Markers, adding Glossy Accents to the hearts, beaks and crown.

I then took the banner image, stamped this and coloured with Copic Markers also. The sentiment is from the WPlus9 Wishing You stamp set. This was added to the panel with thin foam tape. The whole panel was then adhered to a Kraft A2 card base with foam tape.
