Spellbinders | Oh Christmas Stitch

Hello there, I am delighted to be over on the Spellbinders Blog today sharing a step by step tutorial for a card I have made using the Spellbinders Oh Christmas Stitch Etched Dies. The set creates a Christmas tree and you can have either a pot or trunk, and the bottom and there is also a star that you can add to the top (but I didn't use it on my card).

As you can see in the peek above, I kept my card really simple. I cut the Spellbinders Oh Christmas Stitched Etched Dies main tree part from Spellbinders Rainforest ColorWheel Cardstock and used DMC BLANC (White) Embroidery Floss for the stitching. The pot was cut from Spellbinders Lavender ColorWheel Cardstock and I used DMC 208 (Very Dark Lavender) Embroidery Floss for the stitching. The tree was simply popped on a Fairy Tale card base with a sentiment from the Spellbinders Chimney Caper Stamp Set stamped to the side.
