Simon Says Stamp | Sending Happy Thoughts

Hello there, today I have a card to share that I made for a friend who I thought needed to be sent a smile. It uses the Simon Says Stamp Dewpierce Butterfly again (I already shared one card using it here) but I loved it so much, I had to create another card with it!

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by die cutting the Simon Says Stamp Dewpierce Butterfly Die from Spellbinders Blush ColorWheel Cardstock for the base layer of the wings, vellum for the top layer of the wings and white cardstock for the body. They were adhered together using liquid glue (just adding the glue behind the body so that it is not visible on the vellum).

I took the main die from the Simon Says Stamp Willowweave Plate Die Set and dry embossed it onto a panel of Spellbinders Chiffon ColorWheel Cardstock. It was adhered to a US A2 sized card base made from the same Chiffon cardstock, followed by the butterfly.

I die cut the 'hello' from CZ Design Basic Trio Die Set three times from black cardstock and adhered them one on top of another for dimension, before adhering to the card. I stamped an accompanying sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink

It was cut into a strip using the Simon Says Stamp Sentiments Labels 2.0 Dies and and adhered to the card with thin foam tape. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Pink Color Essentials Gems.

I have really been loving these soft peachy pink tones recently and I thought they worked great for the butterfly. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day and a great weekend!
