Hero Arts | Fresh Flowers

Hello there, today I have two projects to share using the new Fresh Flowers collection from Hero Arts. The flowers have a bit of a stylized look to them, so I went with a non-traditional monochrome colour palette for my projects today.

I started off with the card. I took a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Spellbinders Seaside ColorWheel Cardstock and placed the Hero Arts Floral Frame Layering Stencil Set on top, one by one, to add ink blending. I used Altenew Fresh Dye Inks in Dew Drops, Aqualicious, Teal Cave (all from the Sweet Dreams collection) and Jet Black

The panel was adhered to a US A2 sized card base. I die cut the 'thanks' from the Hero Arts Sweet Blooms Die Set from Spellbinders Seaside (for the shadow) and Classic White (for the letters) ColorWheel Cardstock twice each. I layered them up and adhered to the card using Bearly Art Glue.

I stamped a coordinating sentiment from the Hero Arts Perfect Pairs Stamp & Cut onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. It was cut into a strip and adhered to the card using thin foam tape. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Aquamarine Color Essentials Gems

For the tag, I started off by die cutting one of the smaller tags from the Hero Arts Nesting Tags Die Set from white cardstock. I then die cut the flowers from the Hero Arts Hero Arts Sweet Blooms Die Set from Spellbinders Seaside, Waterfall and Teal Topaz ColorWheel Cardstock. The flower centres were cut from Spellbinders Raven ColorWheel Cardstock

I die cut one of the flowers using the top of the tag die so that I could cut the hole in it. The flowers were then adhered to the tag using a combination of liquid glue and thin foam tape. The excess was cut off the sides using scissors. I die cut the hole reinforcer for the tag from white cardstock and adhered that on top.

The sentiments, from the Hero Arts Perfect Pairs Stamp & Cut, were stamped onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. They were die cut out using the coordinating dies and adhered to the tag using thin foam tape. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Aquamarine Color Essentials Gems

I really like the monochrome look with the little pops of black and white. I think these would look great in lots of colour combinations though! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day and a great week ahead!
