Spellbinders | Lavender Fields

Hello there, I hope you are well. Today I have a mini card to share using the Spellbinders Lavender Fields Collection from Spellbinders which is a collaboration with Simple Stories. I am using the Lavender Fields Hexagons Dies which feature three hexagons (which can be used with or without stitching detail), lavender and a bee. I love the look of lavender but sadly, the smell makes my migraines worse so I tend to avoid it. So for now, I'll just stick to it in paper form!

I started off by creating my card base. I did cut the largest hexagon die in the Spellbinders Simple Vintage Lavender Fields Hexagons Etched Dies twice from white cardstock using the stitching detail die. I then scored one towards the top to create a hinge. I added adhesive to the hinge and adhered it to the back of the other one. This created my mini hexagon shaped card base.

I die cut the lavender from the set from Spellbinders Lavender and Lilac ColorWheel Cardstock for the flower parts, and Spellbinders Peridot and Rainforest ColorWheel Cardstock for the stems and leaves. I adhered the two parts together using Bearly Art Glue and then adhered them to the card. I cut off the excess from the bottom using scissors.

I stamped a sentiment from Spellbinders Lasting Impressions Clear Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. It was cut into a strip and adhered to the card using thin foam tape. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems
