Spellbinders | Happy Birthday Beer

Hello there, today I have a card to share that I made for my Dad's birthday last week. I thought the beer set from the Spellbinders Just Add Cake Birthday Card Making Kit would be perfect for him!

I started off my card by die cutting the beer glass from the Spellbinders Just Add Cake Birthday Card Making Kit from Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock in Classic White, Alabaster, Beeswax and Tuscan. The hand was cut from Alabaster and I added Copic Marker colouring on top (E11, E00) for some added shadows. The sleeve was cut from Cascade and Celestial, and the watch from Raven, Classic White and Treasured Silver. 

The pieces were assembled and adhered using Bearly Art Glue. I took a US A2 sized card base made from Spellbinders Indigo ColorWheel Cardstock and added scoring lines on to the front panel using the Altenew Scoring Board and stylus. The arm/hand/beer glass were adhered on top using thin foam tape, cutting off the excess from the sleeve using scissors. 

I stamped a sentiment, from the Spellbinders Just Add Cake Birthday Card Making Kit stamp set, onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. I die cut it out using the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with more thin foam tape. To finish, I embellished with Hero Arts Clear Enamel Dots.
