Hello there, today I have two tags to share using a technique that I haven't used for a while - silhouette stamping. It is a really easy technique to do but one that gives beautiful results, I think! I have made tags but this will also work perfectly on cards.

disclosure.
I started off my tags by taking the label dies from the Altenew Creative Labels Die Set and cutting them both twice from white cardstock. I then die cut a hole in the top using the die from the Altenew Labels & Tags 1 Die Set. I placed the tags onto my Altenew Sticky Mat (one of each shape) and added ink blending on top using Altenew Small Blending Brushes.
I used Altenew Fresh Dye Inks in (top to bottom):
- Tag 1 - Sunray, Chamomile, Snapdragon and Rubellite
- Tag 2 - Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Deep Iris and Midnight Violet
I then took the leaf stamps from the Altenew Creative Labels Stamp Set and stamped them onto the tags using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. If there were any gaps in the stamping, I filled them in using an Altenew Finer Liner Pen.
I wanted to add a bit of extra interest to the tags, so I took them to my Splat Box and splattered on Altenew Titanium White Artists' Gouache using a small paintbrush. They were set aside to dry before the other (white cardstock) tags were adhered to the back.
I stamped the sentiments from the Altenew Creative Labels Stamp Set onto Altenew Crafty Necessities: Jet Black Cardstock using Altenew Embossing Ink. I applied Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set. The 'hello' was die cut out using the coordinating die and the two others cut into strips using the Altenew Featured Sentiments Die Set.
I cut the two ends off the sentiments strips using a mini guillotine and then adhered them to the tags using Altenew Black Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I added twine through the holes of the tags and tied in bows at the front. To finish, I embellished with Altenew Mystic Black Stellar Sequins.
