Spellbinders | Tabbed Envelope

Hello there, today I have a gift card holder to share with you using new items from the Spellbinders Tabbed Classics Collection by Wendy Vecchi. Last year the Essential Envelope was released (you can see what I made with it here) and now, there is an add-on set that includes sentiments and the tab insert to add to the envelope.

I started off my gift card holder by die cutting the Spellbinders Essential Envelope Die Set from Spellbinders Lavender ColorWheel Cardstock. I assembled the envelope adhering the flaps using double-sided tape. I then die cut the front panel from the new Spellbinders Essential Envelope Every Day Add-Ons Etched Dies from Spellbinders Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock and adhered it on top. 

In the set is a flower and leaves, so I die cut the flower from Spellbinders Lilac, Lavender and Fairy Tale ColorWheel Cardstock and adhered them together, folding up the petals to create dimension. The leaves were die cut from Spellbinders Peridot and Rainforest ColorWheel Cardstock. 

I adhered the leaves first, followed by the flower in the centre. I stamped the sentiments from the Spellbinders Tabbed In & Out Sentiments Clear Stamp & Die Set onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. They were die cut out using the coordinating dies and adhered on top of the flower using foam squares. 

I die cut the tabbed insert for the envelope from the Spellbinders Essential Envelope Every Day Add-Ons Etched Dies from Spellbinders Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock and stamped and die cut the 'pull' sentiment from the Spellbinders Tabbed In & Out Sentiments Clear Stamp & Die Set and adhered it to the tab. I temporarily adhered a gift card to the tab and then inserted it into the envelope. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Silver Color Essentials Gems.

I am really happy to have the tabbed insert for the envelope! I made a gift card holder but you could add a message on the insert and it be a card in itself or you could add the envelope to a card - lots of possibilities!
