disclosure.
SERENE GARDEN
My first card uses the beautiful Serene Garden embossing folder, along with the coordinating stencils. I started off by running a panel of white cardstock through my die cutting machine inside the Altenew Serene Garden 3D Embossing Folder. I placed it on my Sticky Mat and then placed the Altenew Serene Garden Simple Coloring Stencil Set stencils on top, one by one, to add colouring with ink blending.
I used the new Altenew Bubblegum Dreams Fresh Dye Inks for the flower petals, Altenew Golden Sunset Fresh Dye Inks for the flower centres and new Altenew Whispering Woodland Fresh Dye Inks for the leaves and stems. I used new Altenew Shades of Purple Fresh Dye Inks for the butterfly.
The panel was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base with tape runner adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from Altenew Soft Blossoms Stamp Set onto Altenew Crafty Necessities: Jet Black Cardstock using Altenew Embossing Ink. I applied Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and adhered to the card using Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. To finish, I embellished with Altenew Ivory Pearl Dots.
CRAFT-A-FLOWER: BEARDED IRIS
My second card uses the stunning Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Bearded Iris Layering Die Set. I die cut the layers for one of the irises from white cardstock and placed them on my Sticky Mat. I added ink blending using Altenew Shades of Purple Fresh Dye Inks for the petals, Altenew Golden Sunset Fresh Dye Inks for the stamen and Altenew Whispering Woodland Fresh Dye Inks for the stem and leaf.
The iris was assembled and adhered together using liquid glue. I took a panel of white cardstock and placed the new Altenew Squiggly Lines Background Stencil on top. I then placed the Altenew Circle Mask Stencil on top of that. Using an Altenew Palette Knife, I spread new Altenew Pearl Shimmer Relief Paste on top, inside the circle. Both stencils were removed and the panel set aside to dry.
Once dry, it was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base with tape runner adhesive. The iris was adhered on top using Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I stamped a sentiment from the Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Garden Whispers onto Altenew Crafty Necessities: Jet Black Cardstock using Altenew Embossing Ink. I applied Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and adhered to the card using Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape 1/8" x 1/4" x 10m (which is slightly taller in height than the original foam tape). To finish, I embellished with Altenew Ivory Pearl Dots.

I really love the new Pearl Shimmer Relief Paste, it adds just the perfect amount of pearly shimmer to a card! There are lots of other colours available too, so I hope you will check them out. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day!
That Serene Garden set looks great. I am a longtime fan of irises so that will be an easy sale at some point. I need to be budget-minded. Love your cards, Michelle.
