Spellbinders | Floral Reflection

Hello there, today I have two projects to share with you using products from the new Spellbinders Floral Reflection Collection which is out today. This is such a pretty collection with lots of florals, shape dies, solid shape foil plates and much more!

Today I have a card and tag to share with you using three of the new sets. I started off by die cutting the Spellbinders Sealed Wildflowers Etched Dies from Spellbinders Cardstock. I used Peridot, Rainforest and Fern for the foliage and Purple Mist, Lilac Blossom, Pink Sand and Wild Berry for the flower heads. I did end up cutting more than I needed, but now I have extras for other cards, which is always helpful!

For the card, I ran a panel of white cardstock through my Platinum 6 with the Spellbinders Tufted 3D Embossing Folder. The panel was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base with tape runner adhesive. I then die cut a heart from the Spellbinders Essential Hearts Etched Dies twice.

They were stacked one on top of each other and then adhered to the card. I adhered the foliage pieces next, using Bearly Art Glue. The flower heads were adhered with thin foam tape.

I took the sentiment from the Spellbinders Glimmering Just For You Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set and foiled it on to Spellbinders Onyx Cardstock using Spellbinders White Glimmer Hot Foil Roll. It was cut into a strip (using the die in the set) and adhered to the card with more thin foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Spellbinders Opal Color Essentials Gems

I couldn't resist creating a tag too, so I first die cut the Spellbinders Create a Decorative Tag Etched Dies from white cardstock and adhered the Spellbinders Sealed Wildflowers foliage on top with Bearly Art Glue. The flower heads were adhered with thin foam tape.

I took the sentiment from the Spellbinders Glimmering Just For You Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set and foiled it on to the same black cardstock with white foil. It was also die-cut using the die in the set (this time, the one with banner ends) and adhered to the tag with thin foam tape. To finish off, I added Spellbinders Black Hemp Cord through the top of the tag and tied in a bow, as well as adding a few Opal Gems.

  1. They are both so beautiful Michelle, I love the pretty colours of the flowers, the embossed background on the card but I especially love the tag, it looks beautiful with the delicate stems, that are almost framed by the shape of the tag, gorgeous xx
