Altenew | Craft Your Life Project Kit: Garden Rose Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello there, today see's the release of this month's Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit. This month is called Garden Rose and it is so pretty! I will talk more about the kit later but it consists of a stamp set, die set, stencil and an embossing folder, which all coordinate perfectly together. We are celebrating the release with a fun, inspiration filled blog hop with prizes, see below for more details.

You can purchase the kit on it's own or as part of the Craft your Life Project Kit Subscription

For my card, I started off by stamping the roses and the leaves from the Altenew Craft Your Life: Garden Rose Project Kit stamp set on to white cardstock with Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I left them to dry for a little while and then stamped the layers on top with Altenew Cool Summer Night Crisp Dye Inks

I took a panel of white cardstock and using the mask stripes in the Mask & Simple Coloring Stencil set, ink blended stripes on to the top left hand corner using an Altenew Small Ink Blending Tool and the black ink from the Altenew Green Fields Crisp Dye Ink Set. The panel was adhered to an A2 white card base with thin foam tape and the leaves added on top with tape runner.

The roses were added on top with Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I took the sentiment from the stamp set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Altenew Embossing Ink. I applied Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with more foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Altenew Cool Summer Night Enamel Dots

For the tag, I took a panel of white cardstock and die cut it using the small size tag form the Altenew Terrific Tags Die Set. I added ink blending to it using the Cool Summer Night Inks and then ran it through my die cutting machine with the Garden Rose 3D Embossing Folder you get in the kit.

Using a foam ink blending tool, I applied white pigment ink to the raised areas on the embossing and then let it dry. I stamped the same sentiment that I used on the card and heat embossed it. Cut it in to a strip and added it to the tag with foam tape. To finish off, I added twine through the top of the tag and added a few enamel dots around the sentiment.
