Reverse Confetti November 2018 Blog Hop

Hello there, I am delighted to be hopping along with Reverse Confetti for their November release today. What a wonderful release! It is full of both winter/Christmas and every day stamp sets and dies. If you are following along in the hop, you should have arrived here from the wonderful Kathy, but if you get lost along the way, I have the full list of participants below.

My first card uses the adorable Snow Bunnies stamp set and dies. I started off by stamping the bunny and bird on the sled, as well as the clouds on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured them with Copic Markers (the colours I used are listed below the supplies section) and die cut with the coordinating dies. I added Aqua Shimmer pen to the hats and then set them aside.

I took an A2 white card base and blended Distress Oxides on to it. I used Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac. I then stamped the snow flurries in Tumbled Glass ink. The bunny and two of the clouds were added to the card with foam tape and the final cloud added with tape runner. I took the sentiment from the set and stamped this on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied Detail White embossing powder and heat set. This was cut in to a strip and added to the card with more foam tape.

My second card uses the super cute Furever Friends stamp set and dies. I started off by stamping the dog on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured him with Copic Markers and die cut him out with the coordinating dies. I then took the Dashed Line tag die and cut this from watercolour paper. I blended Distress Oxide inks on to it to create a grass and sky scene. I used Tumbled Glass for the sky and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grass.

I took the sentiment from the stamp set and stamped this on to the bottom of the tag. The dog was then added on top with foam tape. I tied hemp twine through the top and added Crystal Glaze to the dog's nose. I took an A2 white card base and scored lines on to the front panel using a mini score board and bone folder. The tag was then added on top with more foam tape.

  9. Have to say I'm a bit of a sucker for the animals that Reverse Confetti do. I have the moose and it cracks me up every time. This one is really fab and I love the addition of the shaded lilac which really adds a nice light touch and doesn't make it too white. Perfect! xx
