You Are Amazing, Remember That

Hello there, today I am using the beautiful new Sketch Lotus Flowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, released as part of their new Friendly Frolic release. It is a beautiful set with a lovely arrangement of lotus flowers, plus lots of fabulous sentiments.
 

I started off by die cutting the scallop frame from the SSS Frames Die Collection from white cardstock. I die cut this four times and layered up the frames. I then took the inside piece and stamped the lotus flower image on to it using black ink. The image was coloured using Copic Markers for the base layer and then I added some detail with Polychromos pencils (the colours I used are listed below the supplies section).
 
 
I adhered the image panel on to an A2 white card base with tape runner and then added the four stacked frames around it with liquid glue. I took one of the sentiments from the set and stamped this on to black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. This was then cut in to a strip and I cut a banner/ribbon end on to one side. This was then added to the card with thin foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Moonshine sequins.

COPIC MARKERS: Stems/leaves - G46, G43, G40. Pink flower - R85, R83, R81. Aqua flower - BG13, BG23, BG11, BG10. Yellow flower - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11. Purple Flower - V17, V15, V12, V01, V000.
 
POLYCHROMOS: Pink flower - 142, 129. Aqua flower - 156, 153. Yellow flower - 109, 107. Purple Flower - 249, 136.
 
How perfect is that sentiment? I love it! I am not sure if what I coloured as the purple flower, is indeed a flower and not a leaf but I made it into a flower if not! :) Please do check out the rest of the Friendly Frolic release, it is amazing!
