If all has gone to plan then I should be back at work today after 5 weeks sick leave (feeling very nervous about going back actually) and this post should be scheduled to post today ...

I have had this little cutie for ages but had not stamped her up (until now!). I have made this card for my lovely boss Tracy at Dies to Die for for the lovely pressies she sent me for Christmas (I am very behind with my thank you's this year). I have stamped Birgitta out and coloured her with Copics, cut out and added to base with 3d foam pads. The base is a sheet of Lemon Bazzill CS added to a white card blank followed by a layer of paper from the MY Favourite Things Spring Collection which can be found here. I have then wrapped a piece of raffia lace around and added the pearls (both from Quixotic Paperie) then added the greeting to finish.

Swiss Miss Rosalie

Isn't she a cutie? She is one of the new CC Designs Swiss Pixies and is available at Dies to Die for. I have made this for my DT friend Natalie who's Birthday it is today (I hope you have a great day Natalie!) I have stamped Miss Rosalie and coloured with Copics, cut out and added to base with DST. The base is simply layers of paper from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie collection. Prima flowers (also available at DTDF) added and sentiment stamped to finish. Apologies again for the bad photos. Have you seen the mega sale that is going on over at Dies to Die for ... some big bargains to be had!

Lazy Afternoon

Here is my first card of 2010. I was feeling a bit better this morning so I thought I would make this card for my Grandad and also enter it into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge of Shabby Chic (this is probably about as 'rustic' as I will get!) I have stamped out Lili Of The Valley 'Lazy Afternoon' and coloured with Copics; cut out with a Nestie circle then added to base with DST. The base is papers from the Basic Grey Archaic & Granola pads with Stampin' Up linen thread wrapped around. Message stamped and button added to finish. Apologies for the dark photo's but I haven't done this for a while! *Please check out my bling giveaway below too!*

I would also like to just say thank everyone for their lovely get well messages, I am still undergoing tests as an outpatient and still off work due to the pain and side effects of the tablets but hopefully I will be on the mend soon.

Sadly I haven't been able to make any cards as of yet, I am still off sick but have been able to go through some of my craft stuff and have a bit of a spring clean. I have some rub-ons and some ribbon to give away to you lovely people.

First up is the rub-ons, there is nothing wrong with these at all (they were replacements from Do Crafts when the first batch of rub-ons didn't work, those of us oldies will remember this lol) and some out of the packs have been used but most are intact, it is just that I haven't used them in a while and to save them just sitting in a draw I thought they may be in use to someone.

Belated Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Just popped on here to say that I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, apologies for the delay but I unfortunately had a spell in hospital again and managed to get at out mid-day on Christmas Day. I think I would have rather been working than being a patient but never mind! But I spent the rest of the day at home with my family so that was nice. I want to thank everyone who sent me a lovely Christmas card and to everyone that visited my blog this year - you are all so appreciated. Once I am better I hope to be blogging alot of more frequently again. I would also like to wish everyone a Hapy New Year and all the best for 2010.

Elzybells Challenge 34 - Winter Wonderland

Sincere apologies for not posting this yesterday but I was in hospital so it was a bit difficult for me! Here is my final project for Elzybells as a DT member. I would like to just take this opportunity to thank Elizabeth for giving me the opportunity to be part of a fabulous team 1 and half years ago {doesn't time fly when you are having fun?!} Not only is Elizabeth such a fab boss but her products are amazing as are my fellow DT members. I will of course miss being part of the team but there will be a fab new one starting in the New Year and I know they are gonna love it! Here is my card, the challenge was set by the amazing Steph and was to make a card using the colours white, blue & silver.

Christmas Teddies

What seems like ages ago now, I bought these oh so cute teddies from Lili Of The Valley and I have been so excited to use them and on Saturday I finally did, I made them all the same really but I will show you two today and two tomorrow. I have used the same layout as I have on all my cards lately, well if it ain't broke don't fix it yeah? lol The cardstock is from Papermania and the beautiful glittered paper is from My Minds Eye Christmas Stack. The snowfakes and part of the images have been gone over with my Spica glitter pen but sadly you cannot see this in these pics. The snowfakes are a Martha Stewart punch available from Dies to Die for.
