Cute Christmas Tags

Hello there, today I have two tags to share with you using the Arctic Animals set from Clearly Besotted. They are just the most adorable critters and I thought the penguin and polar bear would look cute on some tags for presents.

I started off by cutting four tags using the Clearly Besotted Rounded Tag die from white cardstock. Two of these were then cut again using one of the ME Landscape Border Trio dies. I then blended Distress Ink over the other two . I used Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch and Seedless Preserves. The snow bank was then added to the bottom of these.

The penguin, polar bear and hats were stamped on to white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured using Copic Markers. These were then cut out using the matching dies. I added a little Star Dust Stickles to the white parts on the hats and Glossy Accents to the nose on the polar bear, and the beak on the penguin.

The penguin and polar bear were then added to the tags using foam tape and I added some white and silver baker's twine through the top of the tags.

Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

Hello there, I am back to share my final Christmas card with you. I used the Mama Elephant Reindeer Games set again - it is just so cute!

I started off by die cutting an MFT Pierced Circle die from watercolour cardstock. I then blended over Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks on to it. I sprayed it with a liberal amount of water and Perfect Pearls using a Mini Mister. I then die cut another of the circles and cut this a second time using the ME Snow Capped Mountains die. This then had Tumbled Glass Distress Ink blended on to it.

I stamped Rudolph on to some white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured him using Copic Markers. He was cut out using the matching dies. To assemble the card, I added the background piece on to a 5"x5" square white card base. I then added the mountain piece on top. Rudolph was added with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped on to a piece of white cardstock, using the CB Sentimental Type stamp set. This was cut in to a strip and added to the card with foam tape. To finish off, I added a few PPP Sparkling Clear Sequins, and Glossy Accents to Rudolph's nose.

Reindeer Fun

Hello there, I am back to share the card I have made for my brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephews. I am using the ME Reindeer Games set again but this time, I decided to make Rudolph in to spinner element.

I started off with a white A2 card base. I took the second to largest die from the SSS Stitched Rectangle dies and cut a window from this. I also then cut two frames using this die and the larger one, to add to the front and the inside. I also die cut a snow bank using the ME Landscape Border Trio dies, as well as the mountains from the ME Snow Capped Mountains die. The reindeer were stamped, coloured with Copics and then cut out using the matching dies.

The background sky piece was inked using Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks. I then splattered over Copic Opaque White on to it for snow. I also blended over some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on to the mountains and a little on to the snow bank. These were all adhered to the inside of the card using ATG. The Reindeer were then added on top, as well as the candy cane and present.

I then took some invisible (clear) thread and added a piece of this to the back of Rudolf, I then added the back of Rudolph over the top to sandwich in the thread. This was added to the front panel of the card by adhering the tread to the top and bottom of the card base and then adding the frames on top. To finish off, I added Glossy Accents to the reindeers' noses. The greeting will go on the back panel of the card.

It was a little tricky to photograph this card and sadly you cannot see it in it's entirety but I have to say, I love how this card came out; quite a bit of work but well worth it! Thank you so much for visiting me today. I hope you are having a great weekend!

Merry Penguin

Hello there, I am back with yet another Christmas card. I really hope you are not fed up with them yet, as I still have a few more to share! Today I am using the super cute Merry stamp from Purple Onion Designs. How cute is the penguin?!

I started off by taking a panel of white cardstock that was cut using the ME Femme Frames rectangle die. Merry was then stamped on to this in the bottom right corner using a stamp positioner to line it up. He was then coloured with Copic Markers.

The sentiment, from the CB Many Mini Messages set, was stamped in black on to a separate piece of cardstock, cut out and added on top. The panel was then adhered to a red A2 card base with foam sheet. To finish off, I added clear Wink of Stella to the green parts on the present and Glossy Accents to the penguin's beak and feet.
