Christmas Bottle Tag

Another quick post from me today showing another one of my quick projects for Christmas. Here is a bottle tag made from the PTI Wine Bottle Tag die. I have cut it from PTI Stampers Select CS and added a strip of DB Limeade CS to the middle. I have cut a PTI Mat Stack 2 die from DB Ladybug CS and then taken the circle which was die cut from the tag {where the tag fits over the bottle neck} and stamped it with snowflakes from the PTI Winter Penguin Set with DB Ladybug ink and then the greeting {by Elzybells} with black ink. This has been added to the Mat Stack 2 shape with 3d foam and the whole thing added to the tag with 3D foam also. DB Mini Jewels added to finish. Really simple again, the colours of my brother and SIL's table are red, lime green and white hence the colours on this tag and the candy wrapper yesterday.

Christmas Candy Wrappers

I thought I'd show you the little candy wrappers I have made for the Christmas table this year. I have used the SU! Bigz L Candy Wrapper Die and ran it through my Cuttlebug {using the extended plates} using some red CS, I then assembled the boxes, with some difficulty I might add! The ends are a bit tricky. I have printed off everyone's names, using the Fabulous 50's font, and punched out using an SU! Oval Punch. I have decorated this oval using holly leaves cut from lime CS made from the EK Success holly punch and berries from rhinestones coloured with an R27 Copic marker. The oval is added to the box with a 3D foam pad.

 

And what is inside these candy wrappers? small reindeer chocolates from Hotel Chocolat - so cute!

Christmas Gift Card Holder

Here is a quick little project I thought I'd share with you using the Gift Card die from PTI. I have cut it from blue CS and simply stamped snowflakes from the PTI Winter Penguin set over it in VersaMark. For the inside I have simply stamped the Elzybells greeting on to white CS and cut out with the SU! Word Window punch. This gift card is for my dad so  have resisted adding any bling to it but you could really go to town with these and make them so pretty.

Merry Christmas Mum

Here is the card I have made for my mum this year. I have used the very cute PTI Winter Penguin stamp and stamped him out in black ink then die cut with the co-ordinating die. His feet and beak have been coloured with Copics and then he has been added to a circle cut with Nestabilities dies. The white circle has been stamped with mini snowflakes from the same set in Memento Lulu Lavender ink. This circle has been added to the base with 3D foam pads. The base is a sheet of DB Fairy Dust run through my Cuttlebug using the PTI Peace Be Still Impression Plate and then mounted to DB Lilac CS, wrapped with PTI Fresh Snow ribbon and then DB Twine; Stamped witht he PTI Signature Christmas stamp using a Memento Tuxedo Black pen {so that I could exclude the 'we wish you a' part}. The whole thing has then been added to a white card blank. I have punched a little snowflake from DB Sugar Coated CS and added to the twine with a bow and a little DB Jewel. More DB Mini Jewels added to finish.

Sketch N Stash 77

Morning all, this fortnight over at Sketch N Stash we have a great sketch designed by the very talented and lovely Sue.

My card is made by adding DB Fairy Dust CS on to a white card balnk and then followed by a layer of DB Gumdrop Sprinkes CS on top {this is my old stash, very old in fact, I've had it for about four years!}. I have then added three PTI Double Ended Banners to the base cut from DB Lilac CS. The image CC Designs Snowman Digi Image {new stash} is printed from my PC and coloured with Copics, adding a little Spica in places. I have cut the image out using a Nestabilities oval die and then the scallop oval in more DB Fairy Dust CS. Lastly I have added SU! rhinestones to the middle banner.

Christmas Card Design 2011

This is my main Christmas card design for this year for my friends and family. They are just a little under 4" square. The bauble from the SU! Delightful Decorations set has been stamped with either Memento Lady Bug or Grape Jelly ink and then punched out with the co-ordinating SU! Ornament punch. The card base has been stamped with the hanging thread stamp from the MFT Die-Namics Christmas Ornaments stamp set and then the greeting from the PTI Signature Chrsitmas set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The bauble has been adhered to the card with 3D foam and then an SU! Rhinestone added to the centre. CAS cards but I like them! I need to say a big thank you to Stephanie for the inspiration for these cards, I love her style.

Merry Christmas Niece & Nephew

Just a quick post from me today, I am off for my LP this afternnon but I wanted to get some cards up as I am not sure how much I'll be able to do after my LP for about a week.

These are the cards for my niece and nephew. Sorry I can't go into a big discription about the cards but the one for my niece uses a Sugar Nellie image (Wish upon a star) and tons of glitter. The paper is Doodlebug Designs and the snowflake is an MFT Die-Namic. The one for my nephew uses a LOTV image (Snow Bears), SU! Baja Breeze CS and Bo Bunny Snowfall Collection paper. The sentiments are printed from my PC and cut with a Stampin' Up! Modern Label punch.

Christmas Labels

I have made this card twice, one version for my nan and one for my dad. It is made using the PTI Christmas Label die which has been stamped with the corresponding stamp in VersaMark ink on to PTI Pure Poppy CS. The next layer is another of the stamps stamped in VersaMark on to PTI New Leaf CS and cut out with scissors; this has been added to the red layer with 3d adhesive squares. The next layer is the greeting from the CC Designs Amy R Christmas Words set stamped on to PTI Stampers Select White CS and punched out using the SU! Modern Label punch and added to the layers with 3d foam pads. I have then punched out the holly leaves using an EK Success punch in the same New Leaf CS. I have added Papermania gems as the berries. This has then been added to a layer of white CS wrapped with Doodlebug Twine and then layered with more Pure Poppy CS followed by a white card blank. WOW! lots of layers there but still a simple card!

Daydreamer

A quick card from me today, I have simply taken a small white card blank and stamped the stem and leaves with SU! Certainly Celery ink and then the flower head with Baja Breeze (probably my most fave SU colour!). The stamp set is Daydreamer by PTI {love it! All the elements are seperate and you can make up flowers as you wish}. The sentiment has been stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink from the PTI Everyday Button Bits set.

Fizzy Moon Christmas - DTDF

Here is the card I have made for my brother and SIL for Christmas. I have used one of the cute Fizzy Moon stamps available at Dies to Die for called With Love and coloured with Copic Markers. I have then added a generous amount of glitter to the image {so sparkly, I love it!} and cut out using a Nestabilities rectangle die and mounted to DB Candy Apple CS. This has been added to the base with 3D foam. The base is more Candy Apple CS mounted with Echo Park Dots & Stripes Christmas Collection paper and wrapped around with white orgamza ribbon and PTI Pure Poppy Satin Ribbon. This has all then been added to a white card blank. The Elzybells {retired} greeting has been stamped and cut out with a MFT Die-Namics File Tab die and popped under the image. Doodlebug Red Mini Jewels added to finish.

Sketch N Stash 76

Hey there, this fortnight over at Sketch N Stash there is a great sketch designed by the fab Chrissie.

Sadly due to my health problems I am not playing along this fornight as I can't commit to commenting on all your lovely creations due to having my LP on the 13th. I hope you all play along though, it's a great sketch. I will be back to SnS for the next challenge on the 19th December.

LIM - A Bit Of Bling

I have made this card for my very good friend Sarah who's beloved cat Bozzy died last week. I wanted to let her know I was thinking of her and her hubby at this sad time. I am also entering into this week's Less Is More challenge of A Bit Of Bling. Quite easy for me since I use a little bling on almost every card I make!

For the card I have taken some PTI Spring Rain CS and run it through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder and added the panels to a white card blank. I have then stamped a heart - from the SU! So Happy For You set in Angel Pink ink and then the greeting - from the PTI Floral Frenzy set stamped in black. I have then cut this out using a Labels Four Nestabilities die and added PTI Spring Rain ribbon to this and added to the card with 3d foam. Adhesive rhinestones added to the top and bottom.
