ConGRADulations!

I have made this card for my cousin who graduated with a First this week :0) Thanks to the suggestion from Jill, I have gone with this Pink Petticoat image as I'm sure he will find it funny! I have printed the image and the greeting out on my PC on to SU! Whisper White CS. I have then coloured the image with Coloursoft pencils & Sansodor, cut out and mounted to black CS. Added to base with 3D foam pads. I have made the base by layering up black CS on to a white card blank then adding SU! Gable Green. I have run a piece of SU! Green Galore through my Cuttlebug using the squares embossing folder and added to the base. I have then rounded one edge of the greeting panel and added with a green brad.

STAMPS: Pink Petticoat. CS: Craftwork Cards, Stampin' Up!, Papermania. ACCESSORIES: Cuttlebug Squares embossing folder, Doodlebug brad.

Passion for Purple Bags

For this card I have printed out the bag from Pink Petticoat onto linen card and coloured in with watercolour pencils. I have then cut it out and mounted to black CS then to sparkly vellum. This panel has then been added to the base with 3D foam pads. The base is simply a purple card blank with organza ribbon wrapped around the side. The greeting has been printed from PC, mounted to black CS and added to card with 3D foam pads.

Tilda & Co Challenge

This card has been made for the new Tilda & Co Challenge Blog.

"For our First Challenge this will be FLOWERS, would like to see any type of flowers on your work, be it Die Cuts, Blooms, Primas, or even Flower Printed papers etc. Anything goes aslong as it involves having flowers on your work"

I have stamped laying Tilda with Stazon ink then coloured her in using watercolour pencils and added glitter to her wings using my new At You Spica glitter pen from Copic (I haven't found anywhere in the UK that sells these, I got mine from the US). I have then mounted her up on to pink card and added to base with 3D foam pads. I have made the base by layering up Pink Petticoat paper (Rainbow Doodles Card Making Collection) on to more pink card. I have then stamped the sentiment at the bottom with Stazon ink and added a Prima Sprite with a large purple brad.

STAMPS: Magnolia, Studio G. INK: Stazon Jet Black. CS: Craftwork Cards (Softies), Bazzill, patterned paper Pink Petticoat. ACCESSORIES: Prima Flower (Sprites), Papermania brad, At You Spica glitter pen.

Thank You Notecards

These are the last of my thank you cards for Christmas pressies (I think!). These cards have been inspired by the card Leann has made for my blog candy challenge. I attached paper from Pink Petticoat (Rainbow Doodles Card Making Collection) and added ric-rac ribbon to the bottom. I have then stamped 'thanks' in the bottom corner - simple!

STAMPS: Studio G. INK: Stazon Jet Black. CS: Craftwork Cards (Softies), patterned paper Pink Petticoat. ACCESSORIES: Papermania ric-rac, Prima Marketing Inc ric-rac.

Piggy Christmas

Have I told you how much I love pigs? When I saw this Penny Black stamp I couldn't resist it! The first card has been made by stamping the piggy with Stazon ink and colouring with watercolour pencils. I have added glitter to his hat and coat and mounted him up on card and added him to the base with 3D foam pads. The base is paper printed from Pink Petticoat. Craftwork Cards message added in the bottom corner. The second card has been made in the same way, the piggy has been attached to a base of Pebbles Inc paper running accross a Craftwork Cards card blank and the rub-on (Pebbles Inc) is mounted up with 3D foam pads too.

Xmouse Ornament!

I bought this stamp last year but didn't get around to using it, this year I thought I MUST as it is so cute! Both cards have been made with the same products. The mice have been stamped with Stazon ink and coloured with watercolour pencils, Stickles has been added to the snowflake. The paper has been downloaded form the Pink Petticoat site and printed off. Sentiments are by Craftwork cards and mounted with 3D foam pads.

Lola Rose

This card was made for my Mum to give to my SIL Kerry. This image is Lola Rose from Pink Petticoat. We chose this particular Lola Rose image because we thought it looked like Kerry so it suited her perfectly! I colured her in using watercolour pencils and mounted onto purple card. The sentiment is also from Pink Petticoat which was popped behind some grosgrain ribbon.

Pink Petticoat

I have just discovered Pink Petticoat! Yes, I know I am a bit late! Check out the website here. They have some lovely images, greetings and papers for you to buy to download to your computer, print out and add to your handmade cards! This card is made using the Cupcakes images. I have coloured the cupcake in using pencils and added glitter to the icing. The designer paper and card are by Doodlebug Designs. I am having fun using my computer in my card making, usually I just print out the odd greeting for my cards.
