VIDEO | Transparent Edged Card

Hello there, I was over on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel yesterday sharing a card using the beautiful new Festive Flourish suite. I thought it would be fun to create a transparent edge card using acetate!

I started off my card by stamping the image from the Pinkfresh Studio Festive Flourish Stamp set onto white cardstock using Pinkfresh Studio Detail Black Hybrid Ink. I then die cut the image out using the coordinating die. 

I placed it on my Pinkfresh Studio EasyBlend Grip Mat 6.5" x 8.5" and placed the Pinkfresh Studio Festive Flourish Stencils on top, one by one, to add ink blending using Pinkfresh Studio 1/2" Blending Brushes. I used Pinkfresh inks in Sparkling Rose and Bubble Gum for the berries, Sparkling Rose, Bubble Gum, Waterfall, and Turquoise for the ornament/bauble, Grassy Knoll and Key Lime for the long foliage, and Meadow and Emerald for the holly type foliage. 

*Please note, I have not linked the ink pads in the supply list as some colours are now no longer available as Pinkfresh Studio transition to releasing new inks in a few months time*

I took an A2 sized white side folding card base and cut off approximately 1 7/16" from the edge (I just eyeballed what I thought would look nice!). I then adhered Pinkfresh Heat Resistant Acetate Sheets inside the card base using double-sided tape. I cut panels of white cardstock to go on top, so that the adhesive would not be visible. I adhered the image on top, adding thin foam tape to just where the image overlaps the white cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the set onto white cardstock using Pinkfresh Studio Detail Black Hybrid Ink. It was die cut out using the coordinating die and the die cut again from white cardstock and adhered behind. It was adhered to the card using a combination of Pinkfresh Studio Precision Clear Craft Glue and foam tape. To finish, I embellished with Pinkfresh Studio Ice Clear Drops.
