Altenew May 2026 Release | Flowers & Flourishes

Hello there, I hope you are well! Today I have a card to share using the new Flowers & Flourishes Set from the Altenew May 2026 release, which is out now! I combined it with the new Stylish Greetings 2 Die Set, which is fabulous! There is a wonderful selection of sentiments in that set!

I started off my card by stamping the large image from the Altenew Flowers & Flourishes Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then used the coordinating stencils and ink blending to colour the image in. I used Altenew Shades of Purple Fresh Dye Inks for the petals, Golden Sunset Fresh Dye Inks for the centres, and Green Valley Fresh Dye Inks for the leaves. 

It was die cut out using the Altenew Flowers & Flourishes Die Set. I adhered it to a white US A2 sized card base with Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape, cutting off the excess overhanging the sides of the card using scissors. 

I die cut the 'thanks' from the Altenew Stylish Greetings 2 Die Set from white cardstock for the shadow and Altenew Crafty Necessities: Jet Black Cardstock for the word itself. I cut the word twice, layered them up one on top of another and then onto the shadow piece. It was adhered to the card with more foam tape. To finish, I embellished with Altenew Clear Iridescent Stellar Sequins.
