Hero Arts | Big Hugs

Hello there, today I have two cards to share using the new Beary Sweet collection from Hero Arts + Carly Tee. I love the Big Hugs sets (both the die and stamp set) so that is what I am focussing on today. These cards are extremely clean and simple but I do like how they turned out!

For my first card, I started off by die cutting the hugs die from Hero Arts Big Hugs Die Set onto a panel of white cardstock. I then cut the panel down using one of the Hero Arts Rounded Rectangle Infinity Dies. I stamped the 'no words, just' above the hugs aperture from the Hero Arts Big Hugs Stamp Set using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink

I die cut the Hero Arts Sentiments Strips Fancy Die from Spellbinders Fairy Tale, Lavender and Lilac ColorWheel Cardstock. The strips were adhered to the front of a US A2 sized card base, making sure to cut them down to fit behind the panel. The panel was then adhered on top using thin foam tape. I die cut the smallest Hero Arts Nesting Hearts Infinity Die from Spellbinders Lavender ColorWheel Cardstock and adhered it below the 'u' to finish.

Since Carly is the queen of shakers, especially flat ones, I thought it was only right to create one for my second card! I die cut the hugs die from Hero Arts Big Hugs Die Set onto a panel of white cardstock. I then stamped the 'enclosed' from Hero Arts Big Hugs Stamp Set using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink onto the panel around the end of the 's'.

I made a shaker pocket from stamp packaging and added Tim Holtz Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter inside. I then closed it up and adhered it to the front of a US A2 sized card base made from Spellbinders Lilac ColorWheel Cardstock. The panel was then adhered on top. To finish, I added a teeny Spellbinders Silver Mix Color Essentials Gem at the end of 'enclosed'.

The rest of the collection is super cute too; it features gummy bears and sweets, hence the name Beary Sweet! I apologise for the poor photos, sadly the sun seems to have disappeared from London this week so far! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a great day!
