Altenew | Botanical Waltz Flowers

Hello there, it is release day over at Altenew and the March 2026 release is packed full of stamps, dies, stencils, embossing folders, new pastes, paints, storage, and more! I am using a few new products on my card today but I will have more to share for the blog hop on Saturday.

For my card, I started off by die cutting the flowers from the Altenew Creative Cuts: Botanical Waltz Layering Die Set. The flowers have three layers each but you can use the layers separately as individual flowers too. I die cut the yellow flower from Altenew Crafty Necessities: Buttercream, Maple Yellow and Warm Sunshine Cardstock. 

The aqua flowers were die cut from Altenew Crafty Necessities: Dew Drops, Aqualicious and Teal Cave Cardstock. They were layered up and adhered using liquid glue. I die cut the leaves from Altenew Crafty Necessities: Jet Black Cardstock. I created an arch shaped card base using the new Altenew Nesting Arches Die Set from black cardstock. I cut another layer from white cardstock and cut a little off the bottom. It was adhered to the front of the card using Altenew Glue Tape. 

I then adhered the leaves to the card first, using liquid glue, followed by the flowers using Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I die cut the 'hello' from the Altenew Timeless Sentiments Die Set from Jet Black Cardstock for the word (3 layers) and white cardstock for the shadow. The layers were adhered together using liquid glue and then adhered to the card. To finish, I embellished with Altenew Clear Iridescent Stellar Sequins.
