Simon Says Stamp | Warmed by Your Friendship

Hello there, I hope you are well! Today I have a card to share using some new products from the Simon Says Stamp And Everything Nice release that they kindly sent me to use. I already shared two cards using the release, which you can see here and here. Both of those cards were Christmas cards, so for today, I wanted to create a winter card.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by placing a panel of white cardstock inside the Simon Says Stamp Wispy Pine Needle Frame Embossing Folder and running it through my die cutting machine. Using blending brushes, I then blended Tim Holtz Distress Inks on top. I used Evergreen Bough and Pine Needles first and then added a little Black Soot to the corners to darken them slightly.

I took the panel to my splat box and splattered Tseukineko Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz on first, followed by Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Spray and Dr Ph Martin's Bleed Proof White Paint. It was then set aside to dry. Once dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Stacked Holiday Sentiments Stamp Set in the middle using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink

The panel was adhered to a white US A2 sized card base. I then die cut the Simon Says Stamp Layered Bird Bunch Dies from white cardstock (using Pitch Black cardstock for the eyes) and assembled them using Bearly Art Glue. They were then adhered to the card using thin foam squares.

I love the frosty look that the shimmer spritz and white paint give! As I am writing this post, we have had snow today in London (and by the sounds of it, most of the UK too), so it is rather appropriate! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day!
