Hello there, I hope you are well. Today I have a card to share using the Spellbinders Cheerful Chirps collection. This collection is super cute and as the name suggests, features birds! My card today uses the Pretty Birds set, which feature two birds sitting on a perch (you could use just one though!) which I thought would be perfect for an anniversary card.

disclosure.
I started off my card by die cutting the birds from Spellbinders Pretty Birds Etched Dies. I used Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock in Waterfall and Teal Topaz for the bird on the left, and Lavender and Lilac for the bird on the right. I cut their beaks from Beeswax, their cheeks from Chiffon, and theirs eyes from Classic White and Raven. Their feet/claws were also cut from Raven.
I assembled and adhered the birds together using Bearly Art Glue, leaving off the feet/claws for now. I die cut the perch from Spellbinders Acorn ColorWheel Cardstock two-three times. I layered up the arch piece first (three layers), one on top of another and then added one of the bottom pieces. This was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base.
I then adhered the birds on top, using thin foam squares. The other bottom piece was adhered on top, followed by their feet/claws. I then adhered the string part to the top (two layers). I die cut the flowers from the set from Spellbinders Fairy Tale ColorWheel Cardstock for the flowers themselves, and Beeswax for the centres. The leaves were cut from Spellbinders Peridot ColorWheel Cardstock. They were adhered to the perch with Bearly Art Glue, with a thin foam square behind the flowers for support.
I die cut the heart from the set twice from Spellbinders Wild Berry ColorWheel Cardstock and layered them up one on top of another before adhering to the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts Hero Florals Lavender Bunch Stamp Set onto Spellbinders Raven ColorWheel Cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and adhered to the card with thin foam squares.
