Spellbinders | Sprinkle & Grow

Hello there, I hope you are well! Today I have a card to share that I made for my mum using the Spellbinders Sprinkle & Grown dies from the Out & About Collection. My mum completed a big achievement and so I wanted to tell her how proud I was of her. She loves gardening, so I thought this set would work well for her!

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by die cutting the watering can from the Spellbinders Sprinkle & Grown Etched Dies set from Spellbinders Waterfall Cardstock. I then adhered the pieces together using Bearly Art Glue. I cut the foliage (leaves and stems) for the flowers from Spellbinders Peridot & Rainforest Cardstock.

The flowers were from Spellbinders Purple Mist & Lilac Blossom Cardstock and Hero Arts Ultra Pink Cardstock. I wanted to bulk out the watering can a little, so I cut extra flowers from the Spellbinders Garden Buddies Etched Dies

I placed the flowers and foliage inside the watering can and secured them on the back. It was then adhered to a US A2 sized white card base with thin foam tape. I die cut the bird from the Spellbinders Garden Buddies Etched Dies from Spellbinders Alabaster, Dune and Onyx Cardstock. It was adhered to the card with foam tape.

I pressed the sentiment from the Spellbinders Always & Forever Press Plate & Die Set onto Spellbinders Porcelain BetterPress Card using Spellbinders BetterPress Black Ink and the Spellbinders BetterPress Letterpress System. I cut the sides down before adhering to the card with foam tape. To finish off, I embellished with Spellbinders Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems

  1. Such a beautiful and colourful card Michelle! And so nice of you to be able to send this to your mum. I really love the mix of beautiful colours you picked - and they really pop against the neutrals of the sweet little bird. So pretty!
