Hello there and welcome as we celebrate the Hero Studio August 2024 release which is out now! This month is all about tropical vibes and the jungle. I will share more about the kits a little later but first, let's see what I made using the Card Kit of the Month.

disclosure.
I took inspiration from my card from last month and created another hexagon shaped card. I really love the size of these! I started off by die cutting a Hero Arts Hexagon Infinity Die from white cardstock. I also die cut a Hero Arts Nesting Circle Infinity Die from Masking Paper and adhered that onto the hexagon panel for the sun. I added ink blending to the panel using Hero Arts Core Inks. I used Lemon Yellow, Dandelion, Papaya and Pale Tomato for the sky and Pitch Black for the ground.
The panel was adhered to a hexagon shaped card base (made from Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock) with thin foam tape. I then stamped the sentiment from the kit onto white cardstock using Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink and die cut it out using the coordinating dies. I cut the die another two times from white cardstock and layered them up one on top of another for added dimension, before adhering to the card with Hero Arts Precision Glue.
My next card uses a Monthly Minis set - Hero Studio August 2024 Layering Stencil of the Month called Jungle Leaves. I placed the first layer of the stencils onto a panel of white cardstock and using Hero Arts Small Blending Brushes, blended Hero Arts Core Inks on top.
I used Paradise, Indigo and Grape Juice and added the ink randomly on the leaves. I then repeated the process for the other three stencils (there is four stencils in the kit). The panel was cut down and adhered to a US A2 sized (4.25" x 5.5") white card base with tape runner adhesive.
I die cut letters from the Hero Arts Luggage Tag Alphabet Frame Cuts set using Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock to spell 'thanks'. They were adhered to the card with thin foam tape. To finish off, I die cut a Hero Arts Nesting Hearts Infinity Die, added ink blending to it and adhered it to the card. To finish, I added Hero Arts Crystal Clear Lacquer Pen on top.
