Hello there and welcome as we countdown to the release of the Hero Arts February 2023 My Monthly Hero Kit, which releases tomorrow, Monday, 6th February 2023.

disclosure.
As you may have seen, we are switching things up and there is now a classic kit and also a premium one. If you purchase or subscribe to the premium kit, you will receive the classic kit as well as extra products that work alongside the classic kit (or on their own). If you are a current subscriber, you will receive the premium kit for February at no extra cost.
My card today uses the classic kit only. I started off by die cutting the die in the kit on to a panel of white cardstock. The die cuts the butterflies wings but does not cut them out fully. It does cut the middle section out and also the stars and moon. I placed the stencil on top and started ink blending to add colour to the butterflies and flowers.
I used
Passion Flower and
Amethyst Core Inks for the butterflies,
Paradise Core Ink for the leaves/stems and
Mist and
Aquatic Core Inks for the flowers. There is another stencil layer to add detail to the images but I decided to leave it off for my card today.
I stamped the 'thank you' from the kit stamp set on to white cardstock using
Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied
Silver Embossing Powder and heat set. I fussy cut it out with scissors and adhered it to the inside of the window with foam tape. To finish off, I added a few silver gems.
