Spellbinders | January 2023 Clubs Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello there, I am delighted to be joining Spellbinders today to celebrate the January 2023 Clubs with a fun blog hop. There were lots of new club kits launched this month including the Stitching Club and the 3D Embossing Folder Club. Today I am sharing another card using the Large Die of the Month Club. Sadly, the January 2023 Large Die of the Month Club Kit has sold out on the US website but there are still lots of other kits available to purchase this month. Hopefully you are still happy to see some more inspiration using the kit though anyway! 

I started off by die cutting one of the shape dies from the Spellbinders Geo Foliage Hot Foil Plate & Die Set as a base for my flowers. I cut two from white cardstock, layered them up one on top of another and adhered to a US A2 sized white card base. 

I then die cut the flowers and leaves from the Spellbinders January 2023 Large Die of the Month Club Kit. I cut the flowers from Spellbinders Waterfall, Teal Topaz and Blue Spruce Cardstock. The flower centres were cut from Spellbinders Snowdrift Cardstock. The leaves were cut from Spellbinders Silver Fox Cardstock and Spellbinders Vellum Sheets. 

The flowers were adhered to the card using Bearly Art Glue. I started with the three main flowers and then popped the leaves behind. I took the sentiment from Spellbinders Yana's Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set and foiled it on to white cardstock using Spellbinders Black Glimmer Hot Foil Roll. It was die cut out and adhered to the card with thin foam tape. To finish off, I embellished with Spellbinders Onyx Color Essentials Gems.
