Clearly Besotted Teasers | Little Lady

Hello there and welcome to day two of the Clearly Besotted January 2023 Teasers. Release day is 1st January 2023 and we are sharing teasers using the new sets until then. Today I am using the new Love Bugs set. This set is filled with adorable cats and their ladybird/ladybug friends! There is also a beautiful flower image and great sentiments too!

I started off by stamping one of the cats and the floral image from the Clearly Besotted Love Bugs Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured them using Copic Markers and fussy cut them out with scissors. 

I took a panel of white cardstock and blended Distress Inks at the top using an ink blending brush. I used Wild Honey, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade. I then stamped the sentiment from the set below using more black ink. 

The panel was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base using thin foam tape. I then added the images on top with more thin foam tape. To finish off, I added white gel pen highlights and black glaze pen to the cat's eyes.

We call them ladybirds here in the UK, but I know they are called ladybugs elsewhere. Makes more sense really, rather than birds!
