Clearly Besotted Teasers | Dainty Dandelions

Hello there and happy Clearly Besotted release day! The November 2022 release hits the shops tonight at 8pm GMT. I have one last teaser to share with you before I take a look at the whole of the release a little later. 

My card today uses the new Dainty Dandelions Stamp Set. This is such a sweet set. It has a few dandelion images in it, plus teeny tiny critters/animals as well as some lovely sentiments.

I started off my card by stamping the dandelion image from the Clearly Besotted Dainty Dandelions Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then partially cut it out with a circle die. I had to run it through the die cutting machine twice, trying not to cut over where the dandelions come out from the circle. I then cut around them using scissors. 

I stamped the image again on to masking paper and placed the masks over the images. Using an ink blending brush, I blended on Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon and Prize Ribbon. The masks were removed and the images coloured using Copic Markers. I splattered it with Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White Paint before setting it aside to dry. 

Once dry, it was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base with thin foam tape. I stamped the cat from the set on to more white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, cololured it with Copic Markers and fussy cut it out with scissors. It was adhered to the card with thin foam tape. 

I stamped the sentiment from the set on to black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into strips and added to the card with more thin foam tape.
