Spellbinders | Kaleidoscope Floral Slimline

Hello there, today I have a card to share with you using the Spellbinders March 2022 Large Die of the Month Club Kit. This month is called Kaleidoscope Floral Slimline and as the name suggests, features a beautiful floral slimline die. There are different parts to the die - the main background shape piece, the larger floral dies which layer up and the smaller flowers. There are also some leaves too, so if you didn't want to use the slimline part, you can still use the flowers.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off by die cutting the main background floral piece from the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club Kit from white cardstock. I cut it twice and adhered them one on top of another. I then die cut the smaller flowers from Spellbinders Waterfall Cardstock. The larger flowers were cut from Spellbinders Purple Mist, Lilac Blossom and Royal Amethyst Cardstock. The outline was cut from white.

The background piece was adhered to a slimline (3.5" x 8.5") white card base with Bearly Art Glue. I then added the smaller flowers on top. The larger flowers were layered up and then adhered to the card, also with Bearly Art Glue.

I took the sentiment from the Spellbinders Everyday Sentiments II Hot Foil Plate and foiled it in Spellbinders Silver Glimmer Hot Foil Roll on white cardstock. It was cut in a strip and added to the card with foam tape. In hindsight, maybe I should have foiled it on black cardstock, so that it stands out more, but I was going for an airy feel to the card! To finish off, I added Spellbinders Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems

I hope that you will check out the Spellbinders Club Kits. It is a wonderful monthly subscription where you receive the kit each month. Designers like myself share inspiration using the kit at the beginning of the month to show you lots of different ways that you can use it.

There are also lots of other club kits too, like the Small Die of the Month and Stamp & Clear Die of the Month (plus lots more!), so there is something for everyone! If you do subscribe, you will get other benefits from Spellbinders too. Please see here for more information. You can also buy older kits here too.

GREAT NEWS! If you are in the UK, Spellbinders will now ship the kits directly from here in the UK for Club Kit Subscribers (Club Kits only). That means reduced shipping costs and no extra fees! If you have been putting off subscribing to the kits because of this, now is the time to do it!

If you do want to get hold of this month's kit, you would need to subscribe by 24th March 2022 to receive it. Subscribers can cancel their membership at any time.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. Wishing you a wonderful day and a great rest of the week!

  1. Absolutely beautiful Michelle, it really does look airy, clean and fresh and I like the sentiment in white/silver. All the little gemstones look so pretty and add lots of interest to the white areas. It's a beautiful die and you have created a gorgeous slimline card using it xx

  2. Absolutely gorgeous! Ordered!!!!!!!!
