This month's theme is dreams and surrealism. I really like the moon image in the kit stamp set, so decided to use that as my focal image, along with a night sky/galaxy background. I started off by stamping the sentiment from the set on to a panel of white cardstock with Hero Arts Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied Hero Arts White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set.

Using Hero Arts Ink Blending Brushes, I added on Purple Galaxy, Pool Party and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks. I then went over the whole panel with Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink. Leaving some lighter areas over the coloured sections, however the great things about Reactive Inks is that they have pigment properties, so you can add the ink over the black and it will still show! I then splattered the panel using Hero Arts White Iridescent Shimmer Spray and Hero Arts White Liquid Watercolor. The panel was then set aside to dry.

I took the moon image from the set and stamped it on to watercolour paper using Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink. It was watercoloured using the Daniel Smith Watercolor Dot Palette that you get in the kit. I used Iridescent Gold on the moon and Iridescent Sapphire on the ribbon. These are both metallic/shimmer paints and although do not show up that well from viewing directly, when they catch the light, they are so pretty!

The moon was die cut out using the coordinating Frame Cut that is also in the kit. The background panel was adhered to an A2 white card base with foam tape. I then added the moon on top, with more foam tape.
