Altenew | Vintage Galore Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello there, today sees the release of the new Vintage Galore Collection from Altenew. It is full of stamps, dies, hot foil plates, stencils and more. The release does have more of a vintage vibe to it but if that is not for you, that is ok as you can use lots of the products in different ways. We are celebrating the release with a fun, inspiration filled blog hop with prizes. See below for more details.

My first card uses the new Golden Days set. Those flowers are absolutely stunning! I just used the stamp and die set today but there is also a stencil and hot foil plate as well. I started off by stamping the outline of the flowers and leaves from the Altenew Golden Days Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Altenew Obsidian Ink. I then stamped the layers of the flowers with Altenew Sugarplums Crisp Dye Inks and the leaves with Green Fields Crisp Dye Inks

They were die cut out using the Altenew Golden Days Die Set and set aside. I took a panel of white cardstock and an Altenew Large Ink Blending Tool. I blended the same Sugarplums ink on to it starting in the top right hand corner and blending to white as I moved down. The panel was adhered flat to an A2 white card base with tape runner and then added the flowers and leaves on top with more tape runner.

I took the sentiment from the new Altenew Sentiment Strips 3 Stamp Set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Altenew Embossing Ink. I applied Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder, heat set and cut in to a strip. It was adhered to the card with Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. To finish off, I added a few Iridescent Jewels.

My next card uses the new Wedding Promises set, which is great for weddings but I think the cake could be used for other occasions too. I started off by stamping the cake and sentiment from the Altenew Wedding Promises Stamp Set on to a panel of white cardstock with Altenew Embossing Ink. I then applied Altenew Rose Gold Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set.

Using the same ink blending tool, I blended on Altenew Sugarplums Crisp Dye Inks to the panel, making it slightly darker at the bottom. The ink was wiped off the embossing powder with a dry cloth and then I spritzed on Altenew Iridescent Shimmer Ink Spray. The panel was then simply adhered to an A2 white card base with foam tape.

  14. They are both lovely Michelle! The Golden Days card is stunning with the soft blend behind the flowers - so very pretty! That stamp set is fabulous! Yet another one I would love to have! And I love the glamour of the cake card - it looks gorgeous in gold especially with the added sparkle from the iridescent spray.
